Meet your guide and start your day in Capri!

The first experience will be the Blue Grotto: the shining blue color will amaze you.

Than you will have time to visit the cities of Anacapri, that is the historcal center, and Capri, the most exclusive part.

In Anacapri, you can take the chairlift and fly at the top of Mount Solaro, the highest peak of the island, or visit the church of San Michele and the Villa of Axel Munthe.

In the city center of Capri you will see the most eccentric and lively part of the island.

From the main square called“La Piazzetta”, you will walk through the narrow streets populated by the boutiques of the most famous brands.

You will visit the Gardens of Augustus, to admire the road called Via Krupp and see one of simbol of the island: the imponent Faraglioni rocks.

Then, you can use your free time to walk along via Camerelle, the shopping street of the island.

In the afternoon, you will greet your guide at the same place you meet in the morning.

The best way to see the highlights of the island in one day! Marco is so knowledgeable, kind, generous, and seems to know everyone on the island! The Blue Grotto was closed that day due to to the conditions so we took a boat tour around the island instead, which honestly may have been the better deal anyways! You got to see literally the whole island from a boat, and we even still went by the blue grotto and could definitely tell why it was closed. It's an early start, but by the time we came back from the boat tour, we saw all the day trippers arriving on the ferries and knew it was going to be a very crowded day, but Marco already had given us a head start and were ahead of the crowds. Having a guide to help navigate the buses around the island and then to cut the line certain places to keep things moving was invaluable, I can't imagine trying to navigate the island by myself, especially as a solo traveler. I do feel like we got a great overview of Capri and would highly recommend Marco and Belle Vie to anyone!

  • I enjoyed the opportunity...

I enjoyed the opportunity to experience Capri on a small-group tour. This tour combined guided and unguided activities, providing a nice balance. Our guide, Marco, was excellent. He helped me find a location to store my luggage when the regular options were unavailable. He ensured that we arrived at the Blue Grotto first thing, so we wouldn't have to wait in a long line. While the grotto was beautiful, I'm not really sure it was worth the 18 Euros for a 5 minute boat ride, but I will remember the experience forever.

The Blue Grotto is weather dependent and the schedule may need to adjust for the day. Marco is an excellent guide who made a multi lingual group all feel connected and he ensured we got in all the sites! Lots of local knowledge and insights!
