Kuya Russel is a great tour guide in Intramuros. He is very knowledgeable and he and his team actually studied history. He shows images of before and after the war, showing how exactly the buildings looked it. It's amazing to see old photographs of how the area looked like post-war. It was all based on facts. He answers all our questions based on facts. His pace is also perfect. We don't feel rushed and even gave us time to explore. He also sets expectations on the timeline which is actually acurate. I would really recommend to book your tour with Kuya Russel, especially for those students who are on their Rizal subjects.

I never knew anything about Philippines history or heritage. The tour with Russell fixed that. Things are different now. The tour was fun, and all inclusive, including water, the sites picked were great, and Russell is both very knowledgeable and fun.

I highly recommend this tour led by Russell. He was informative, knowledgable and a great storyteller. You get to hear about the history of Manila as well as the strength of the people. One of the best tours I've ever participated in. This is something you don't want to miss. Ask for Russell!

Even though I have been in the Philippines for several years as a foreigner, the Intramuros tour, lead by Sir Rasa, was very nice. It was entertaining and informative, thanks to intersting historical perspectives/interpretations as eye-openers and some nice humor for good measure. Highly recommended!
