5.00We had the best experience with Brothers expedition. Our guide José went out of his way to make the incredible hike so memorabel; he was patient, helpful and communicative of the process. Everything was very well organised, we had cute cabines, a cozy fire and genuinely good (fuel)food. I would 100 % recommend this organisation to others wanting to experience the Acatenango in the best way.

5.00Had an incredible experience with the Brother’s Expedition! Our guides, Rogelio, Franklin, and Jonathan, were fantastic, they were so friendly and supportive, and always kept the pace comfortable for us. They do the hike in smaller groups, which made it much easier, and the campsite was so clean and our guides provided us with everything we needed. I’d highly recommend to anyone planning to hike Acatenango!!

5.00I took this tour with my sister, it was a real challenge because we had never done anything like this, the road in general is complicated considering that we walked for more than 9 hours, the tiredness and pain was too much but in the end it was all worth it, as the place is beautiful. The wonderful views and welcome you with food and a hot chocolate, our guide was attentive throughout. Robinson was always very friendly and motivated us to follow the path, he was going at our own pace and he was telling us stories, I recommend it a hundred percent.

5.00I had the opportunity to go with my sister in July for my birthday, it was the first time we did something like this however the guide we got was extremely friendly and patient until the end, we booked with private guide and took almost 8 hours to climb, but robinson was always encouraging us and telling us mcuhas things about the volcano , the views are wonderful and it is an experience worth having, the agency is very good I had no issues with the reservation fernando was very friendly providing all the information I requested and the guides who assisted us when arriving byron and hector with whom we ended up going down were people chidas, the descent became super fast, the most difficult besides the climb was the cold that feels in the basecamp I recommend to take a jacket as hot as possible to the descent gave us more thirst , but in general I recommend this agency , the food and the attention provided was very good, and definitely depends a lot on the guide the experience that one takes

5.00I got tired, a completely difficult hike you have to prepare very well. We went with my classmates (it was a bad idea to do a night hike) we had our guide Tadashi, he is a good person and very handsome, his stories are well entertained and very interesting was good attentive to each of us was very helpful and very friendly, made us feel safe even told us a separate story but I was afraid when he told us the story of Diego (a spirit that cares for the forest) I loved everything I lived, my group was very cheerful and motivated me every time, when we arrived at camp I thought we would sleep in a camping tent and on the floor, but NO, there were nice cabins with mats, jackets and sleepeng bag, that made the adventure more beautiful and much better. I recommend this hike but do it with brother expedition, the best!

5.00Good experience, the weather didn’t permit us to hike the crater but we were able to see many volcano eruptions. Our guide Byron, made sure everyone was comfortable and even prepared toasted marshmallows. Overall it was a very relaxing experience.
Extreme hike for extreme adventure. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime challenge well worth it in the end. 🤙😁

5.00Amazing hike. Definetly a difficult hike but worth it for sure. Our tour guides were amazing. Made the trip fun and easy. We took many breaks and weren’t rushed. Our tour guides were Birun and ozbin. Great. And an asset to the company.
