Its name, which means "The Red One" in Arabic, refers to the reddish color of the walls that surround the citadel. This is just a rip off by the reseller. The official ticket is 22 Euros if you directly buy the ticket directly from the Palace, but resellers buy them up so you can not buy the official ticket, and have to pay 60+ GBP for a "tour" with no tour guide. It only provides audio guide app with very basic info. Also it said from 2pm but I was only able to access the palace at 3pm, so had to wait at the entrance until I was let in. Alhambra should stop selling the tickets to the resellers unless they provide human guide.

We received our tickets (although they were 1 hour past the time for which we ordered them) and could see Alhambra, however, please know, that Viator is LYING about this activity. You will NOT get an instant confirmation, as it is said in the activity description. After you pay you will be informed, that your tickets will be sent to you 48‐24 hours before the activity. You should know, that this company buys last minute tickets and it may either get them or not. So, you will never know if you get your tickets until the day before the planned visit. If you don't they will just return the money you paid and your whole trip to Granada will be ruined.

Don't expect to be treated fairly. We were confirmed for 11 AM but when we got our tickets via e-mail they were for 1:30 PM. Our schedule would not allow us to go that late. We were refused a refund.

Absolutely fantastic and would definitely recommend the experience — I think if you put into perspective where you are witnessing this place from and then going into the town to see the direct influence of the culture that you can fully appreciate the whole experience. I recommend that you get there with as much time as possible (minimum 20 minutes of extra time) because you do have to walk quite a bit to any meet up points or entrance points (the palace for example). You may feel disappointed if you are expecting something grand.. I think it’s important to remember that this was the culture of such an old place. Simple. Elegant. There is not much to see here but the architecture of times gone past.
