We’ll also stop by colonial-era landmarks like the Cathedral of Saint Vincent de Paul and the bustling Marché Central, before taking a break at a traditional café tucked inside the Medina — a great moment to relax and experience local life.
Our journey ends in Kasbah Square, a site rich in history and a powerful symbol of modern Tunisia.

Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul
We’ll stop in front of the Cathedral of Saint Vincent de Paul — one of the last reminders of the French colonial era in downtown Tunis. With its mix of Moorish and Romanesque styles, this impressive church stands out in a mostly Muslim city. I’ll share with you its fascinating history, the symbolism behind its design, and how it fits into the story of modern Tunis.
Marche central de Tunis, Fondouk El Ghala
We’ll pass by the vibrant Marché Central — the main market of Tunis and a true feast for the senses. You’ll see colorful displays of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, spices, and flowers, all in a lively atmosphere full of local energy. I’ll tell you how this market has been at the heart of daily life in Tunis for over a century, and we’ll talk about what Tunisians typically shop for, eat, and cook. It’s a great place to feel the real rhythm of the city.

Nice visit. Very good French and a sense of humor. You can feel the passion and desire to discover your country. It should also be pointed out that it is a real culinary tour because we tasted local products and dishes (which we settled ourselves of course). An experience I recommend.

The guided tour of the medina of Tunis with Moses was an absolutely remarkable experience. From the very beginning, his passion for Tunisian history and culture was felt. He knows how to transmit his knowledge with rare clarity, while making each explanation lively and captivating. Thanks to him, centuries-old alleyways, fragrant souks, colourful gates and ancestral monuments have taken on a whole new dimension. Moses has this precious talent for intertwining historical anecdotes, architectural details and human narratives, creating a true journey back in time. His kindness, attention to detail and ability to answer all our questions made the visit smooth and pleasant. You can feel his strong love for Tunisia. ❤️ It’s a rewarding, warm and immersive experience. If you want to discover the medina of Tunis in its best light, with a competent and passionate guide, Moses is undoubtedly the best choice. Asma and Sarra

Moïses is much more than a guide: he is a passionate narrator, able to revive the history of Tunis with depth and humanity. He knows every corner of the Medina, every legend of Carthage, every cultural nuance of the city. Always punctual, kind and attentive, he manages to create an authentic and engaging experience. With him, Tunis is not visited: it is lived.

It was a wonderful walk in Tunis, with a lot of discussion about the history of the country which is very rich. Moses knows a lot of nice places in the medina, I could never find myself. I highly recommend this excursion!
