(4 person minimum booking required.) You get the best of both on this Waterfalls and Breweries Tour with a designated driver. Your "Brew-bur Driver" will pick you up at your stay location in Bryson City, NC and drop you off there after the tour. (PLEASE NOTE: this is non-optional. We've designed the Experience to provide a safe, designated driver day. Please do not book if you are not staying in Bryson City for us to pick up and drop you off.) This 9 hour tour visits 4 Western Carolina waterfalls and 4 breweries. Tour starts at 8:00 A.M. in Bryson City, NC and ultimately returns there as well. Food trucks available at several breweries along the way. Tour includes guided hikes and transportation.
Other things to note:
Must be a minimum age of 21 to book tour.
Waterfalls hikes involve moderate hiking with maximum distance of two miles.

What To Expect
Cullasaja River Gorge
We visit 4 Waterfalls in the Cullasaja River Gorge. On the 2nd and 3rd stop, we hike down to the Falls and back up. The 3rd stop requires a hike down and back up of about a mile round trip.
Lazy Hiker Brewing Company
After hiking and viewing the 4 Waterfalls, we go to 4 Breweries with the first stop at Lazy Hiker Brewing in Franklin, NC

5.00We were a group of senior age sisters and spouses. I can’t say enough about how much we all enjoyed being driven in such a comfortable vehicle to tour beautiful waterfalls! Mark is a wonderful guide as he is a knowledgeable, articulate, and gracious person. So much interesting information! The views are spectacular! We are rewarded with visits to breweries with some excellent brews. We really enjoyed the entire experience.

5.00We had an awesome day spent with Mark & Joanie visiting waterfalls and craft breweries. They picked us up at our rental cabin and dropped us off there at the end of the tour. It was a relaxing day with short hikes to the falls. Mark was very knowledgeable in the history of the area and identification of trees and wildflowers. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend Carolina Bound Adventures for any tour they offer.
Best guides in Bryson City! We absolutely loved the waterfall tour.

5.00We absolutely loved this tour! Mark and Sarah were our guides and they were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, it was an absolute blast. If you are in Bryson City, you have to take this tour. Great Smokey Mountains National Park was such a special place. We learned so much from Mark and Sarah while we were on the hike. We cannot wait to come back and do it again. Take the tour!

5.00We were a group of 6 and went on the waterfalls/breweries tour. We had a fantastic time. Mark picked us up where we were staying exactly when he said he would arrive. We went to 4 waterfalls and then 5 breweries. Mark was very professional and personal. I highly recommend this trip.

5.00Great tour with Mark & Joanie! Six of us started early in the day. Drove & walked through gorgeous areas to view the waterfalls. By early afternoon stopped for lunch and starting enjoying the fine breweries in the area. A super time!

5.00My sister and I booked this experience after we were told to buy bear spray. Mark took the time to share the history and nature of the park. We loved every aspect of the hike between the beauty in nature and the waterfalls.
