We joined the From Cave to Coast Wellington Highlights Tour with Zozo Travel on October 16, 2025, and had an amazing experience. We happened to be the only two guests that day, so it felt like a private tour. Our guide Phil was outstanding - an excellent communicator with deep local knowledge about Wellington’s history, nature, and culture. We visited a mix of iconic sights and hidden gems, from scenic coastlines to charming neighborhoods, all at a comfortable pace. The tour was well-organized, relaxing, and gave us a real feel for what makes Wellington special. We’ll definitely book their Martinborough Wine Tour next time we’re back in New Zealand! Highly recommend Zozo Travel to anyone looking for a personalized, high-quality Wellington day tour with a knowledgeable local guide.

This tour took in plenty of the Wellington area, packed with knowledge, & tidbits of information & elements of historical significance from go to woah! The scenery was gorgeous, aided by the wonderful weather on the day, & Gary was a fantastic guide for our intrepid little group of travellers, sprinkling the whole experience with humour. Among other things, I learnt plenty about chocolate frogs & their significance to the area! May the Chocolate Frog Cafe live on forever more & avoid threats of closure into the future!

Garry had a wealth of knowledge being born and bred in Wellington. Michael was in training as well but had extensive knowledge of everything Wellington. The tour was professional, full of information and intersting sights. Loved the lunch. Highly recommend

Great ! Had a really fun day. It didn’t matter that I was by myself, other people were too. We got along well as a group and had a laugh.

This was an extraordinary tour of Wellington and the surrounding coastline. There were great views of the city, even though the weather wasn’t perfect due to the rain. All the highlights of Wellington, like the cable car, Old St. Paul’s, and the Weta Workshop, were included. There was a wonderful lunch provided as part of the tour as well. I highly recommend this tour as a fine introduction to Wellington.

Wonderful tour! Spent the day visiting sites, great views, nice lunch and my favorite The Botanical Gardens with amazing view from the top of the Wellington Cable Car. Thank you “Phil” for a day I will not forget! Look forward to another trip back and trying out other tours your company offers. Highly recommend this tour company!
