What To Expect
Roatan
Once your cruise arrives at the port, our team will meet you right outside the port when you arrive in Coxen Hole or at Mahogany Bay. You will be picked up in a private car with your personal driver, ensuring a personalized and private service. From there, we will set off to begin your excursion for the day.
Roatan

5.00Our guide Ruth was sooo amazing!!! She made us feel so comfortable & safe. She communicated everything perfectly keeping us informed on time since she knew we were anxious to make it back to ship on time. There isn’t enough room to describe how wonderful Ruth was! The experience was nothing short of amazing. The monkey & sanctuary was fantastic. We had 2 15 year old boys with us who didn’t think they would enjoy it… they thought it was the coolest thing by the end! Kenley our guide at the animal sanctuary was great! He was very knowledgeable & gave us plenty of time with the animals! The west end beach was heaven! The water was clear & perfect! I would definitely travel again with this company again, especially if we were able to have Ruth as our guide again!

5.00We had an incredible day in Roatán thanks to our private driver, Johnny! From the moment we met him, it was clear we were in great hands. He was born on the island, so his knowledge of Roatán is unmatched, and he shared so much insight throughout the day. On top of that, he was personable, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. Our first stop was San Simón Beach Club, where Johnny had already arranged for umbrellas and chairs right on the beach. The umbrellas were just $5 and absolutely worth it, being oceanfront while our kids played safely in the water made for a perfect start to the day. Johnny also helped us get a great deal on snorkeling at the reef, and it ended up being a highlight of our trip. One of our kids even said it was the best snorkeling they’ve ever done, and we completely agree! After that, we visited a monkey and sloth sanctuary, which was such a fun and unique experience. As if the day couldn’t get any better, Johnny also negotiated an ATV adventure for us, adding even more excitement to an already amazing itinerary. Despite fitting in so much, Johnny made sure we were back at the cruise ship with plenty of time to spare, which gave us total peace of mind. We can’t recommend him highly enough if you’re visiting Roatán, booking a day with Johnny is a must. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

5.00This was a really fun day! The animal park was quick but we enjoyed it. The staff was very knowledgeable and the animals were well cares for. The beach club was very nice. Drinks an food available for purchase and fo $5 they put up an umbrella for us. Our guide Elda was wonderful!!

5.00My fiance and I traveled with our tour guide Amy. She was very welcoming and hospitable. She kindly took us through the town, to our tour, and to her favorite beach safely and smoothly. We enjoyed the sloths, the good company, and seafood on the private beach. We highly recommend Amy and Tucan Adventures.

5.00I’d rate this 10⭐️ if I could. Selna was very welcoming, attentive, patient, understanding. We really enjoyed our drive/tour with her. She really showed us a good time and very helpful when our son got sick from the heat and altitude. She did not care to stop and take us to a near by store to cater to our son’s need while being sick. I will definitely recommend her and for sure drive with her again when I go back.

5.00This was an amazing excursion! Our tour guide, Cynthia, was the BEST. She taught us so much about Roatan - it was clear she loves her island - and now we do too!! There were 8 of us ranging for 15 years old to 82 and we all loved everything about this day. The Sloth Monkey Park is a true gem and the animals are super entertaining. It was lovely walking around the park learning! Then we went to San Simon Beach Club which was so beautiful. The owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We had lounge chairs waiting for us and the water was that brilliant Caribbean blue we all dream about. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the club and then Cynthia took us back to the boat. I highly recommend this tour - and hopefully you'll get Cynthia.

5.00We had Phil as our guide and he was so wonderful and friendly. He told us a lot about the people and culture of Roatan, and took us to see some fun animals and then to a perfect beach club. Highly recommend San Simon. The service there was great, they had security to watch our belongings, and the water was perfection. I can’t recommend doing a small/private tour like this enough. It was so much better than the big busses or generic tours.
