Fikardos Winery is a well-known, family-owned winery established in 1990 producing quality wines that reveal Cyprus' true character. Located in Mesogi, Paphos, it is a 10-minute drive from the city center, or a 30-minute bus ride.
At Fikardos Winery, a member of the family will guide you through our facilities, where you will learn about our history, our vineyards, and our winemaking process. During the tour, you will be provided with insights and knowledge about the different stages of winemaking, from grape harvesting and fermentation to bottling and aging.
Tastings will take place in the cellar door or in the barrel room. We will guide you through the tasting, describing the unique characteristics of each wine. Most of our wines are available for tasting, including some of our premium limited edition and experiment wines made from indigenous and international varieties. A complimentary platter of various cheeses, Cypriot olives, salty crackers, and local meats is included.

What To Expect
A tour of the winery followed by a tasting of 6 wines. During the winery tour, a member of our family will guide you through the various facilities of the winery, including the barrel room, the winemaking area, and the bottling and labeling areas. You will have the opportunity to learn about our winemaking process through a detailed, step-by-step explanation. The tasting will include 6 different wines. The tasting will take place in the cellar door or in the barrel room. We will guide you through the tasting, describing the unique characteristics of each wine. Most of our wines are available for tasting, including some of our premium limited edition and experiment wines made from indigenous and international varieties. A complimentary platter of various cheeses, Cypriot olives, salty crackers, and local meats is included.

5.00My husband and I are huge fans of the Valentina rose so on an anniversary weekend we booked for the wine tour and wine tasting. The tour itself isn't long but packed with information on how Fikardos started to how the wine is made. Leonardo our guide was friendly and super knowledgeable. Although it was a short tour I think this is reflected in the cost but definitely worth the visit. The wine tasting was such fun and again Leonardo's knowledge was incredible. I'm not a huge wine drinker but tried all the samples and even found a new favourite in the medium sweet white wine Katerina! It is definitely worth a few hours of your time. A big thank you to Leonardo and his colleague especially when assisting with the packaging of a hamper we purchased and fortunately survived the journey home.

5.00We attended the winery tour on May 22nd, and it was an absolute joy. Leonardo was excellent at explaining the history and the process of their wine production. We also tasted six wines, and they were all excellent. Katerina was something we wouldn't usually order in a restaurant or bar, but it was so nice that we ended up ordering a bottle down at the harbor the following day! Fikardos is Cyprus in a bottle—there is no better way to watch the world go by and the boats come in. Thank you all at Fikardos PS - The Valentina and Katerina gift box made it back to the UK without a scratch....thank you for the bubble wrap 😁

5.00My wife and I were on holiday in Cyprus for our honeymoon, and saw this experience as top-rated on Trip Advisor. We got the 645 inter-city bus from Karavella bus station out to the industrial area the winery is located in, and thanks to good roadside signage found the entrance easily. We were greeted by the owner's son, Leonardo, who took us on the tour and wine tasting. Our group consisted of three couples. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us the history of the business as we walked round and he explained the process for the reds, whites, and rose wines. We saw the fermentation tanks, barrels, storage cellar, bottling plant, and labelling machines; it was all really fascinating and Leonardo was enthusiastic to answer all our questions. After the tour, we returned to the entrance showroom for the tasting. Leonardo had provided water, crackers, cheeses, cured meats, and fruits for us to enjoy with the wine. We sampled six in total, two whites, a rose, and three reds - all amazing. Leonardo guided us through the flavours and characteristics of each, and which snacks best complimented each wine. Afterwards we were invited to choose our favourite for a second glass! After the tasting we were very happy to buy a few bottles of the wines, which were shockingly reasonably priced for the quality. One word of caution is that the return bus into town is very infrequent (once an hour at the time we went), so it's probably worth getting a Bolt taxi if the timings don't line up for you.

5.00Lovely quiet winery, Leonardo was very friendly, welcoming and informative. Wines were lovely and it was great to hear about the family’s background and the formation of the Winery. Would recommend booking directly through the Vinyard and not through Tripadvisor as you will save some money.
A real hidden gem with some lovely wine!

The tour was informative and fun, and the wine tasting was atmospheric, tasty, and great value at £10. Leonardo, our guide, was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Do visit!

5.00Went to the wine tasting at Fikardos which was really good. I tried 6 wines for 10 Euros which was good value, also were given little crackers with cheese to have with the wines. Leonardo explained all about the wines and the history of the winery. I bought two bottles of wine which he told were named after his Grandfather and his Grandma's. Thank you Leonardo I really enjoyed the wine tasting.
