Our tasting evening starts with an Extra Virgen Olive Oil tasting. Some of the worlds best varieties from the 2018 shortlist. Then we will taste four typical wines from our region. Inside this family-run grocery store we will pair them with iberian cold cuts and cheeses.
Other tasty tidbits will showcase some of the vegetables grown in the fields around Granada, sweet baby broad beans and tasty artichokes. They will definitely get your taste buds going and you will learn more about this undiscovered province.

What To Expect
At an elegant restaurant taste some of the best Spanish wines paired with delicious tidbits. From local Granada wines, to refreshing whites produced in the North of Spain. You will really get to experience the contrasts in the Spanish wine scene. This experience offers tastiest treats such as locally grown mango and avocado in the first dish, award winning cheeses from Granada and other local specialties. And at the end of the Wine Tasting, your guide will give you our exclusive Granada Dining Guide, with all our favorite places to eat and drink in Granada put on a handy map. Our tasting evening starts with an refreshing white wine and local dish from the Costa Tropical, South of Granada province. Then we will taste three other wines from Spain. Inside this elegant gastrobar we will pair them with Spanish tapas and local Granada cheese. One of the wines we try is locally produced in the Granada region. The food is carefully paired with each wine variety to get your taste buds going and you will learn more about the different wines regions across Spain as well as local production of wines in Granada.

5.00Katia did a wonderful job educating us on the wines and history of Spain! We had a terrific time! The wine and food were superb! Very filling, plan on this being your dinner if you book! Highly recommend. We enjoyed visiting with the other travelers. The small group was nice!

5.00I had a lovely time with our guide Katia who has been in Granada for 25+ years and previously was associated with a top local restaurant. We tasted 2 lovely olive oils that she brought including the acclaimed Hojiblanca from Rincon de la Subbetica. I enjoyed a local Granada tinto as well as 2 tintos de Ribuera del Duero and 2 tintos de Rioja. The Costilla de Cerdo was wonderful at Casa Castaneda. 3.5 hours flew by. I highly recommend.

5.00This was a fantastic and informative event. Katia is incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did we learn about wine, we also learned about olive oil and Spanish ham. I love that we can take this knowledge home as it will definitely change how I shop for oil and Spanish wine. The food was also excellent. So, be sure to show up hungry. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00Simply fabulous!!! We had the pleasure of spending time with Katia, who is most knowledgable and delightful. We tasted wines, olive oils, and the most delicious food which created an educational and fun event for all. We learned a great deal in a limited amount of time and enjoyed each wine, Olive oil, and food pairing tremendously. Well Worth the VERY reasonable price !!! Would strongly recommend.
