We can organize the tasting directly at your home or at the hotel where you are on holiday.

I'll take care of everything and you won't have to think about anything!

I will set the table with tasting tablecloths and serve you wines in professional glasses!

At the end of the tasting I will leave the bottles uncorked (if not finished :) so you can enjoy them during the holiday.

What To Expect

I am Simone Vergamini, "Best Sommelier of Tuscany 2023, 3rd place at the Best Sommelier of Italy 2018, 2021 and 2022. We can organize the tasting directly at your home or at the hotel where you are on holiday in the city, or in the surrounding hills (within a radius of 15 km from the city center, for longer distances may be charged a supplement) The experience always includes an introduction to wine tasting, the history of the territory and wineries. We will then move on to the tasting of 5 wines accompanied by bread, cheese and oil from local production. These are wines selected from small producers, mainly organic certified, in love with their work and the territory. We can organize the tasting directly at your home or at the hotel where you are on holiday, even in the center of Lucca. I'll take care of everything and you won't have to think about anything! I will set the table with tasting tablecloths and serve you wines in professional glasses! At the end of the tasting I will leave the bottles uncorked (if not finished :) so you can enjoy them during the holiday.

Simone was awesome! He came to our villa and set up a beautiful table with local producers of cheese and olive oil to pair with the wines we tasted. Simone is knowledgeable and professional and provided a memorable experience for us ! Recommend him 100% !

We had Simone come to our Villa outside of Lucca for a wine tasting for a group of 16 of us. He put so much care and thoughtfulness into the experience, making it a highlight of our trip. With such a big group + small children, having him come to the house made it very easy, and the experience and setup were beyond our expectations. Thanks again!

The wine tasting with Angelo and Simone was a highlight of our trip! They were both so kind and fun, in addition to knowledgeable and skilled. We drank the most delicious wines and learned so much about the different tastes throughout the Tuscany region. The bread, oil, and cheese pairings were delicious. There were 7 of us total and everyone said that wine tasting was the best day we had. Simone was great to work with- responsive, kind, and focused on the customer’s experience. I highly recommend this to everyone!!
