Come and get excited about winter cycling! This is a e-bike ride in Saariselkä area on varied but beginner-friendly winter trails.
Riding an e-fatbike is easy. You need to know how to ride a bicycle and you can join the ride even if you haven't ridden off-road before. Winter cycling with a guide makes it easy and safe to give it a try.
We always ride in small groups, max 8 persons in one, so you don't need to be worried of constant queueing during the trip.
In December-January, it's already dusk when we leave and dark when we come back. Luckily we have powerful lights attached to our helmets that are showing our way back to the town.

What To Expect
We start the ride from our shop in the middle of the village of Saariselkä. Before the ride, we go through the safety aspects, check the equipment and how the bikes work. Good preparing is the key to successful ride.
Urho Kekkonen National Park
Riding to the gates of the Urho Kekkonen National park is quick on the public roads. Soon after the gate we head to to purpose made winter trails. Concentrate now, if you ride off the track, you'll dive deep in to the powdery snow! That's the moment of the best laughs :) The route varies daily, depending the conditions and the ability of the group. Some of the trails run inside the National Park and part of the trails outside it's borders, but the beautiful nature is the same on both sides.

5.00We had a great experience! Our guide was really sweet and took good care of us on our dusk ride using the electric fat bikes. We got lucky and it was just 2 of us and the guide, so she was able to tailor the speed and route to our speed and timing. Very unique experience, definitely recommend. Was super fun, even when we had a few wipe outs and crashed into the snow or went “swimming” as the guide joked :D

5.00I traveled to Saariselka with my siblings and this bike experience was simply amazing. It is not easy for sure and we fell so many times, and the trail through the forest really made us question life. However, the host was extremely nice and patient, from preparing our gear to checking on us constantly through out the journey and helping us take amazing photos. We had the whole session to ourselves and all three of us agreed that even though it was very tiring, it was a special and rewarding piece of memory. 100% recommended to those who like to put in a bit of effort and go on an adventure.

5.00Very nice way for discovering the surrounding. We were a small group. The guide was very nice and the tour just fine :-) I also rented a bike the next day to extend the experience. I really enjoyed biking in the snow :-)

5.00Our guide was very patient with me as a first time e bike rider. The views and ride were beautiful. There was a cancellation, and we got to go just the two of us for a private tour!
