I had a really wonderful private tour, I learnt about women artists and had really insightful and beautiful conversations about history, politics and the narratives around women’s participations in these spaces. I left wanting to learn more and was given many, many recommendations - I can’t wait to get stuck into my reading list. Stéph is incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, a great storyteller and really good at engagement, it never felt like she was just reciting a script. I highly recommend this experience and I appreciate the affordable price too.

We have now been on a number of these walks. They are all different. We have enjoyed them all. The Women in Art was fascinating, a walk around the National Gallery learning about the very few women artists whose work is displayed. Becky is a wonderful story teller informed by her expert knowledge.

This is the second tour I've taken with WoL...the first was only the day before! I loved it so much I immediately signed up for another. This experience was so much more than just seeing female artists. The guide Becki made connections between eras and contemporaty artists. She shared other works by the artists so which explained their style development. She discussed the museum itself and the dynamics of it's slowly expanding collection of works by women. My only regret was that the tour wasn't longer. Extremely well done tour.

Our tour of 'Women in Art' in the National Gallery, with Becky, was our fourth with Women of London. Every tour has been of the highest quality, with excellent guides. It's such a fresh approach and one which men as well as women can appreciate. Highly recommended.

Steph did a really great job of placing each woman in her historical and personal context, how they presented themselves as artists to the world, the way they were supported or undermined by the men in around them. . I had heard of many of these women before, but came away with a new respect for all of them.
