  • Must do in yangon! Loved every minute of it :)

This was the first tour that my friend and I did after reaching Yangon and it really set a high standard for the rest of our trip. Marc was very knowledgeable (and quietly passionate) about the food, the communities and cultures in Myanmar. Being our first trip to Myanmar, everything we ate was amazingly (and unexpectedly) delicious. He was also kind enough to recommend other tours based on our interests. The route we were on and food we tried was carefully curated, with much thought and planning. It allowed us to try a variety of food (savoury or sweet, refreshing or rich) and walk in several different areas (muslim / Chinese community). With burmese food, I'll say don't judge it by how it looks! (And leave your diets at home..)

  • Must do Yangon highlight!

This is a must do in Yangon and the highlight of my trip! Mark runs a fantastic street food tour - we tried a wide variety of local street food dishes which were delicious but the tour is far more than that. Mark speaks fluent English and Myanmar and has lived in Myanmar over a decade - I learnt so much about the history and culture of the country through our time together. At a time of great uncertainty for Myanmar, this tour supports local businesses and families, and removes the usual barrier as a tourist we sometimes feel when wanting to try new cuisines. No food allergy is an issue - Mark can easily accommodate. Mark was warm and friendly and so too were all the delightful vendors we interacted with. Book it and wear comfy shoes ☺️

  • The best night out you can have in Yangon!

The experience and understanding of Yangon and it's diverse foods and communities was immense. Mark was a great host! We tried food we would never have tried, and saw areas of Yangon, that we probably wouldn't have found without his guidance. We cannot recommend this tour enough. Thanks Mark for a great night. We had a fantastic evening with Myo. She took us around yangon and we tasted amazing street foods. I would suggest pacing yourself as the tour includes a lot of food! Myo was great, she was flexible and took care of our needs. Saba tour was very responsive and changed the start time to accommodate us. Will highly recommend this tour as a great way to see yangon, understand local life and taste local food!
