Hi I'm Mimi,

I live in the Yarra Valley and as a local know all the hidden gems and beautiful scenic routes that large commercial tours often avoid. Experience local artisan cheese platters, local bakeries, Devonshire tea at the historic Train Cafe, the delightful Healesville township and also the iconic Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. It will be a fun and delicious adventure in a small group at a pace you can relax and enjoy.

If you love local artisan food, chocolate, and scenic landscapes and rushing multiple wine tastings at a large commercial winery isn't your kind of thing, then this is the tour for you.

My groups are small at just 4 people and each experience you'll have is unique and will leaving a lasting impression. Great for couples and small groups.

Important Note: The remaining (Hours) will be allotted for the travel time between locations and from pick up until drop off.

Award winning Bahn Mi with choice of roast pork, lemongrass chicken or tofu.

Devonshire tea with freshly baked scones with local jam at the historic Carriage cafe

Air conditioned vehicle with friendly local guide driving throughout the tour. All travel throughout the scenic tour from pick up point to drop off point is included.

I will greet you at the William street west entrance to Lilydale railway station. When you are exiting station, please take the stairs downstairs and as you do the William street exit will be to your left. I will be waiting to greet you right at this entrace to the station. We will then walk over to where my car is parked (on Wiliam street) and I will then drive you to all our stops along the tour.

Felt like a private tour as the group was cozy with four people and our beautiful guide Mimi. She is so lovely, lives in the local area and very knowledgeable about food and the area! Enjoyed the scenery, conversations as well as the many different food experiences we got to try. The Chocolaterie was a highlight with a tasting session as well as a number of stops at some amazing spots. Lot of different food experiences that I enjoyed and plenty of time to enjoy them and the surroundings.

The tour was a great experience. I really enjoyed the scenery and the many food spots we stopped at. Healesville is a beautiful town and we took some of the back roads that Mimi, our guide knows well. It gives much better scenery than the main highways and a few special look out spots as well. The cheeseboard in Healesville was very generous and delicious. Lots of different cheeses and local condiments. Loved the train café, tea and scones surrounded by local wildlife and trees was just beautiful. The Bahn Mi at the end was a really nice surprise, plenty of great food and experiences! You’ve given the tour a lot of thought Mimi, thank you!

We heard Yarra Valley is a must-see place when coming to Melbourne but weren’t sure what sort of tour we should book. We chose this one as it is more about food and not just wine tour like most of the other ones. We really enjoyed it as the food places were all beautiful and unique. The tour guide Mimi was very warm and a local who knows the area very well. We felt very well taken care of the entire time and the places we visited, I will remember, such great experiences. I really liked the chocolate tasting, cheeseboard in Healesville as well as the train café. Wow, that was really such a surprise to have tea inside a restored train carriage. Very cozy and something we will never forget.

Fantastic foodie tour! Love this tour as it gave us a great experience of the beautiful Yarra Valley and many different food experiences. Many of the tours tend to be wine tours and my wife and I wanted more of a food experience and this tour gave us just that! The cheese platter in Healesville, the tea & scones at the carriage café as well as the chocolate tasting were all amazing highlights. The pace was very relaxed and we could really take the time to enjoy each place, learn more and take many photos along the way. Highly recommended this tour if you want something more than just a wine tour.

Great way to experience the Yarra Valley, taking in Yarra Glen, Seville and Healesville. The drive was beautiful taking us off the main highway through some great spots. I really loved Healesville, such a beautiful town, great boutique stores and we stopped there for an amazing cheese platter. Another highlight was the train cafe, having tea and scones there was a special experience. As it's a small group it felt much more personal and not rushed.

Enjoyed this tour as it has a private feel to it with a small group of 4. Love the food and stories behind each place we visited. A good pace, not rushed, plenty of time to take in the scenery, learn about hte local areas and food. Each place we visited was a different experience from cheese, bagels, Devonshire tea with scones and of course lots of Chocolate. Really enjoyed the experience.

Best kept secret of the Yarra Valley! I've been on wine tasting tours before, but this is very different and much more of my thing. No big groups and lot drinking, instead it's great food, nice sightseeing and it feels much more like a private tour. Love the historic train cafe, what a surprise, with the delicious scones and tea with just amazing bushland surroundings. Even a chance to say hi to some goats! The Chocolatier with the tasting experience was also a highlight.

I've been on some wine tours in the Yarra Valley and this tour caught my eye as it's for foodies. Wow there is so much more in the Yarra Valley and famous wine, really got to experience some great local produce and smaller boutique places which was amazing. Mimi, being a local really knows the secret spots and the stories behind them. If you love cheese, bagels, scones, tea and of course chocolate, you'll love this tour! Small group of four was a real plus as it felt more personal and not rushed.

Really fun & relaxed tour. Great for someone that loves local produce and scenery and wants something different to a wine tour. There’s so much the Yarra Valley has! Great food and our guide Mimi is such an expert living in the area! The small group is a big plus as it felt like a private tour with a chance to ask questions and spend time at our own place. Lots of chances to take photos and just feel the local vibe as we went around. More food than I could handle haha.

Visiting Melbourne and the Yarra Valley for the first time. My wife and I enjoyed this tour. Beautiful scenery and the food we tried at the local places was amazing! Healesville town and the train carriage cafe was a big highlight. The chocolate tasting was really special too. Pace of tour was great with plenty of opportunity for photos, enjoy the food and learn more about the local people and area. Mimi was always attentive to our needs, and we felt comfortable the whole time. I’d highly recommend this tour as it felt like a much truer local experience than a commercial tour.
