You will meet local tea farmers who embody the spirit of Taiwanese tea and experience a hands-on experience roasting, rolling tea leaves, and sampling various types of tea like oolong and green tea. In the afternoon, head to an award-winning craft beer brewery and join the guided tour to learn more about beer brewing. Sample various craft beers, including tea beer before heading back to Taipei.

Experience firsthand how organic Taiwanese tea is grown and produced at a real operating tea farm in Yilan that still uses traditional tea processing methods passed down by generations. Pick leaves with a local tea farmer at the plantation and learn how they are harvested (without modern machines) and prepared to become tasty cups of Oolong. Then, experience a rare, hands-on experience learning how to roll and roast tea leaves. After a lunch of tea-infused cuisine, head to an award-winning craft beer brewery and join the guided tour to learn more about beer brewing. Sample various craft beers, including tea beer before heading back to Taipei.

Wonderful experience. Beautiful landscape, modern and traditional seaside city/twin, gracious and heartwarming hosts. Really enjoyed making the tea and understanding how the leaves are prepared. Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the tea!
