Ragnell, you absolute beauty! Thank you so much for what can only be described as possibly the best, most uniquely magical walk we have ever done, and we've done a lot! You are informative, captivating, enchanting, shocking, charming, funny, sad, but through it all THOROUGHLY JOYOUS! 100% recommend EVERYONE to do this!

We met Ragnell Hawthorne on the windy night of Storm Dave and Ragnell was brilliant! Knowledgeable, funny and provided a brilliant spooky tour, pointing out things that we'd have never had noticed that had wonderful histories to them! Would definitely recommend!!

A very interesting tour of the centre of York with the theatrical guide pointing out little gems on the streets and telling the stories that go with them. Many different points of York's history were touched on but all of the stories shared themes that are still relevant today. Ragnell was exuberant, humourous and captivating by turns - an excellent storyteller for an excellent tour!

We joined the York Witch Walk with Ragnell Hagathorn yesterday as part of the York Residents Festival, and it was absolutely brilliant. The tour was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, with the perfect mix of history, storytelling, and humour. Walking through the streets of York while hearing about its darker and more magical past made the city come alive in a whole new way. Ragnell was a fantastic guide — witty, charismatic, and clearly passionate about York’s history. We laughed a lot and learned so much. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors!
