What To Expect
Argentine Pass
Drive to 13,132 feet and enjoy spectacular views of the Continental Divide, and nearby 14,000ft peaks. Travel through historic ghost towns, mines, and explore the true high country well above treeline. You decide the difficulty as we work our way higher and higher up the mountain. With a network of roads and varying terrain, you can be mild or push it to the top. Please note: we offer a variety of trails and this attraction is located on only of the trails. Trails are decided upon together with the client based on weather conditions on the day of the excursion and based on the difficulty level the client would like to select. Length – Variable depending upon season Difficulty – Medium to Difficult
St. Mary's Glacier
Saint Mary's Glacier is a pristine, semi-permanent mountain snowfield perched above St. Mary's lake in Arapaho National Forest near Yankee Hill Road. Often described as the best of Clear Creek County Jeeping, Yankee Hill Road is a classic traverse of mining roads and Jeep trails that feature steep climbs, big rocks, washed out crossings, and downright challenging obstacles. A maze of trails that can be explored from various start points, Yankee Hill Road is a Colorado jewel. Please note: we offer a variety of trails and this attraction is located on only of the trails. Trails are decided upon together with the client based on weather conditions on the day of the excursion and based on the difficulty level the client would like to select. 5.00WOW! I had no idea what to expect out of the Jeep tour with Branden, but it was the best tour I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of! Branden started the experience with thorough and timely communication prior to the tour date. On the day of the tour, he arrived early and helped us feel at ease and excited due to his personable and fun personality. Prior to taking off, Branden went over all vehicle details and made sure we were safe and comfortable (my boyfriend is 6'4"). We were lucky in that we got one-on-one treatment as we were the only ones signed up for the tour on this specific day/time. It was perfect because Branden shared history and education about the area as we were driving and we were free to ask as many questions as our hearts desired. (We shared that we love learning about history and landscape/plants/trees.) Branden was driving a Jeep ahead of us and my boyfriend drove the provided Jeep behind him. Branden constantly gave positive feedback about how my boyfriend was driving the Jeep and made him feel at ease and able to conquer any questionable terrain. Branden made it a priority to stop at multiple locations to give us time to take pictures and see the beauty of the area on foot. Again, I cannot reiterate enough of how much we enjoyed Branden's personality. He is hilarious, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. If he ever noticed liter along the drive, he would stop his Jeep, get out, and pick it up. He really cares about the land and wants to sustain it's beauty and conditions. During the tour, we were provided route options and Branden gave information about each route so we could best decide based on difficulty, etc. At times, we would cross paths with others on the trek and Branden was friendly to everyone. It was comforting to know he is genuinely a nice guy and wasn't "putting on a show" for us on the tour. When the tour was over, he gave us multiple recommendations of places to check out/eat at in the area. He wanted to ensure we had a great trip to Colorado. To be completely honest, I have no desire to visit Colorado again, but I would *just* to go on another tour with Branden! I cannot say enough good things about our tour experience and Branden. I am recommending this tour to everyone I know and it was the highlight of our trip!

5.00I was hesitant to book the full day tour but I’m so glad I did. My husband and I had an amazing time. It was a blast off roading in the Rocky Mountains, the views were epic and Brandon was very knowledgeable and super entertaining! Would highly recommend!

5.00We rented 2 Jeeps for our family of 6 and had an absolute blast! It was the perfect off-roading experience; better than we expected and more rugged than we expected, which was perfect! It was an exciting adventure and Brandon was awesome, personable, and made sure everyone was having fun! It was a true Colorado experience and a must do!

5.00Forking over $500 for a an experience isn't a small decision for our family, and I'm delighted to report that it was worth every penny! No one in our car had ever done any off-roading, and I honestly expected it to be pretty mild, but it was pleasantly gnarly for this novice. We were hoping for a moose sighting it settled for an elk. We saw tons of pretty wildflowers and got some stunning views. Brandon was great. The Jeep was great. Like I said at the beginning ... Worth every penny.

5.00We were visiting from the UK and booked this tour before we headed out to Denver. Being the start of the season, there were only 2 of us in our jeep, guided by Brandon. Their location in Idaho Springs was easy to find, with onsite parking and toilet facilities. Brandon, our guide, was extremely welcoming and, before setting off, briefed us up on the mechanicals of the jeep and continued to do so during the trip over a walkie-talkie. After a very short on road journey, we were soon selecting 4X4 and hitting the trail. Brandon was on the radio guiding us through the trails and telling us the history of the area. The jeeps are well-equipped and negotiated the trails with ease. There were some quite technical sections, but we were expertly guided through. We had a lunch stop and a view point, and stopped at various locations on the way. The scenery and views along the way were outstanding. If you're visiting Denver, and it's your type of thing it's a must do.

5.00It was fabulous! Tom and Alma were awesome. They both made us feel comfortable about the drive. Tom always was in contact with us on the radio giving us information about the area and pointing out sights! It was a great day!!

5.00!*!*! Don’t hesitate to do this !*!*! -this experience was nothing short of a memory of a lifetime (and now a big reason why I want an off-land vehicle) Brandon was super cool from the start. We booked on the very last day of his season and fairly last minute being a same day spur of the moment thing. Mind you i have no experience overlanding and i consider myself a good driver, i wasn’t really sure how i would do and was indifferent on the whole overlanding thing. I’ve watched many videos and it looked cool but I couldn’t tell if crawling and going that slow would actually be enjoyable. For me I can honestly say it was a blast and I get it now Brandon took time to inform me on when, how & why the 4x4 and other features act the way they do. Brandon was great at not over loading with too much information or being boring in fact he made things funny and interesting. Overall made the driving experience fun and achievable and certainly will be recommending him and his company for years to come. Side note - him being local and being able to tell history about was great for my experience as you could sense he was genuinely enjoying & respecting the land. Coming from out of town it was a welcoming start to my stay.
