What To Expect
Zadar Land City Gates
Since this is a walking tour, we start the tour at the place where 2000 years ago people were walking into the city. You will learn how and why the position changed in 1500s. You will see the most beautiful city gate in all Dalmatia and get a chance to compare it with some other monuments.
Narodni TRG
You will learn how the square developed over centuries to present day form and apearance. Today it is largly marked by 16th century Loggia and City Guard as well as 20th century City Hall. The challange will be to find the Roman elements ;)

5.00Thanks for this "Roman" experience. The tour was great. The duration was also OK, as we participated with kids, this was important for us. Zadar history explained in a different, informal way, which we liked! I recommend!

5.00Visited Zadar today on a cruise. Took ship shuttle bus into the town where we met up with Ivica in full Roman Centurion Dress. It was not your standard guided tour as he told the history as though he was there in Roman times. Very interesting & informative and highly recommended to anyone visiting Zadar. We hope to return & will book Ivica again.

5.00This is a very interesting guided tour, which we enjoyed very much as we were taken through the many different eras of Zadar’s history. Ivica brought to life through the eyes of a Roman Centurian and guided us by walking in the footsteps of Zadar’s history in a very interesting way.
