What To Expect
Krakow
The tour begins with a transfer from Krakow to Zakopane. You will be picked up by your guide and, along the way, immerse you in the unique culture, traditions, and stories of the Podhale region. A scenic journey from Krakow to Zakopane, where breathtaking mountain views unfold with every mile will take around 2 hours.
Chocholow
On the way to Zakopane, you’ll pass through the traditional wooden village of Chochołów, known for its nearly identical wooden houses. The settlers follow a long-standing tradition of washing the wooden walls with soapy water twice a year, before Christmas and Easter, which keeps even the oldest buildings looking new. The village lies just 500 meters from our southern neighbor – Slovakia.

5.00We traveled to Krakow on a short city break and decided on a trip to Zacopane with the thermal batch as it’s our sort of thing . We were picked up with another couple by Bob at 8.15 sharp and had a brilliant day , his knowledge was second to none , he was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us all day. First stop was a traditional polish BP gas station 😂 and then on to Choccolow to see some traditional houses and learn about the history then to a sheppards hut to try some traditional cheese and Vodka . We then went on to Zacopane and saw the mountains 🏔️ which was amazing but the mass of Sunday market like stalls not so much . Final stop was the Thermal baths for 3 hours which was so relaxing , air temp was -3 outside and you are sat in 38 degree water amazing the biggest thermal complex in Poland . Then we were dropped back at our hotel. It was great having such a small group and BOB mad the day . I would recommend without hesitation

5.00Just had an absolutely incredible snowmobile tour in Zakopane! The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience was made even better by our amazing tour guide, Łukasz. He was super knowledgeable about the area and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure in the snow!

5.00We took this tour with Jacob and it was an amazing experience. Everything we needed in a day. A great ride, very good spots to visit, all details covered. Zakopane is a must see. The thermal baths were amazing. The cheese was also amazing. Jacob explained us the stories behind the places we visited and he prepared everything in such a smooth way. We had a 10 year old with us and she says this was one of the best adventures of her life :) Much recommended!

5.00Had a fabulous day visiting Zakopane, local village and thermal baths. Our guide Greg was really good, friendly and knowledgeable Also gave us a great reccomendation for a restaurant in tve Jewish quater next day (Starka) which turned out to be our best meal in krakow.

5.00The experience with our guide JACK was amazing!. He picked us up on time at the pickup point with a very comfortable red van. Then he took us to the village of Chocholowski, explaining the traditions there and stopping so we could take pictures. He also considered that we needed to go to the bathroom and made an extra stop on the tour. He played us music during the trip, heating and was explaining a little the history of Krakow. Then we went to the cable car, sent us the tickets and gave us recommendations. Zskopane is a must-see experience if you're going to Krakow. Finally, we went to relax at the baths. Jack explained that we would be 3h and on the way out he was there waiting for us. In addition, he proposed to drop us closer to home rather than at the pickup point. An excellent guide and a spectacular trip!!

We had the most amazing day and Pawel was vey knowledgeable on the history and informative .Took photos and shared with us . 5.00Excellent day out. Collected outside hotel at 8am return at 7pm. Bob was a brilliant our guide, very friendly and informative! Stopped off a few times on the way to Zakopane. Thermal baths were excellent and really clean! Highly recommend booking with Krakow Direct, day ran very smoothly.
