Well organized tour. Our guide Elaine was knowlegeable and gave tons of information about Zamboanga. We were picked up in a nice clean van, attended a seminar on do's and don'ts on the island. We paddled around the mangroves with members of the native community and learned many things about the people and the mangrove forest. Lunch, included in the package, was quite generous and had fresh seafood including spanner crabs. Elaine took very good care of us, watching our things when we walked around the island or swam. Beach was nice, white (slightly pink) sand. The beach drops off at at around 8 to 10 meters so one has to be careful there. Mostly dead coral at the deeper part but you can still spot a few fish here and there. Leave the snorkel, mask and fins and just enjoy the beach. I would recommend the full package- transfers, mangrove, vinta sailing, lunch, etc.
