Superman dive into a giant inflatable ball and roll down Mt Ngongotaha with ZORB, where the fun will have you laughing uncontrollably. Discover FOUR different ball rolling tracks – the world’s longest zig-zag Sidewinder Track, the smooth ‘n’ fast double Straight Track, and the MEGA Track -the longest, fastest and steepest track in all the land and our newest track PIPELINE which starts off with the twistiest turns and finishes off through a treeline tunnel. The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers invented and developed the first ever ZORB site in the world back in 1997 at this very location! To this day, Rotorua is the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre bucket list activity. Do not miss out on this iconic New Zealand invention, where it all began! Awesome! Everyone loved doing this and wanted to go again. It was ridiculously expensive (cheaper on Viator), but kids were super happy.

Good fun. You don’t actually tumble, but glide in the water inside the ball so is not a painful and physically demanding experience. Suitable for most ages. Wear your swimmers - but recommend sturdy ones as the friction shifts them a bit. As it is outdoors, if it is windy be prepared you may have to wait until the wind dies down. They offer warm hot tubs down the bottom and at the top of the tides to relax in between goes. In cooler months it can be pretty cold in the wind so don’t neglect bringing your towels.

This is adventure at its finest, lots of fun, lots of laughter. The hardest part is doing a superman drive into the ball, or be like me and flop your way in like a fish. Either way your in and that's when the fun really starts.

Such a fun time. Firstly, staff were legendssss good to chat too. Highly recommend the two person zorb if you don’t mind getting a few knocks and bruises. Waiting in the hot tube in between zorb rides is a nice touch

The staff were so friendly, there were also hot chocolate/coffee available. Made a year round experience with the spas and saunas onsite so that you’re not waiting your turn cold. The water inside the zorb was warm as well. The ride itself was very exhilarating and there were more chill paths you could take as well.

Great range of price options for single or multiple descents. The staff were locals and very welcoming. This is must do for a tourist visit to Rotorua. You actually get a soak in a hot tub plus sauna, included in the price!

We just did one ride (there isn't really that much of a discount for doing multiple). My son and I went together and it was a unique, fun experience. We worried about the cold on this winter day (sunny at least) but it wasn't an issue. Kind of pricey for a brief ride though.

The actual zorbing experience was one of a kind! It was super fun - we did the yellow and red one. Personally I liked the red one better. However there was an encounter with one of the employees who had misgendered the person I was with, did not correct themselves, no apology, and there was no reason to even have misgendered her. This incident left us feeling like this is NOT an inclusive place and if you do fall into the LGBTQIA+ bucket I would not recommend due to discrimination and discomfort.

We tried the water ZORB rides, and they were hilarious! Sliding around inside the ball as you tumble down the hill feels like a mix of a water slide, a washing machine, and a rollercoaster all in one. Whether you go solo or with a friend, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear the whole time. There are a few different track options too, so you can mix things up and go again (which we did — totally worth it!).

What fun! We laughed and screamed. It's almost like being on a waterslide, except the ball is around you. In any case, you get wet, but can warm up in the hot pools.
