Check in was too easy, the riverboat office is accross the street abd you pick up your tickets there. Show up early if you can as the attendant at the ticket office let us know they start boarding an hour before - so we boarded at 6 for a 7 pm cruise. The buffet opens an hour early so you can ve seated and start eating at that time which was awesome. The food was very good, I think the prime rib was the best. We also had grouper, chicken which was remarkably tender, and shrimp with grits. The steamed vegetables were good, the potatoes were a bit mushy. The peach cobbler was great. I had their version of an old fashioned which was ok - I wouldn't recommend it though. Overall a very good buffet experience. I would do the cruise again just for the dinner. The riverboat experience is similar to the Natchez in New Orleans. Not exceptionally scenic as the Savannah River in this area is a mix of developed hotels and industrial sites. The party is on the 4th deck - loud music and booze. My wife recommends ladies bring a wrap or light cover if you are dining inside, even on a hot day, because the dining rooms are kept cold.

The food served was very poor. Overcooked and cold. The staff was very nice but even the entertainment was subpar. Not at all the experience I expected for the price paid.
