From pick up to drop off, every1 made my comfort was priority #1. Was picked up on time from my hotel in Medan. Was asked if I had any music, temperature preferences or needed to stop anywhere b4 the 3hrs drive. Was greeted by Andy who showed me the restaurant, bar then to my amazing bright room with private bathroom. Also gave some things to do in the area. The next morning was amped 4 the jungle treck. Andy, with his assistant was telling the 1 other member of our group & me about the rubber plantation, other plants around & insects. With in an hour we encountered Thomas monkeys with a baby playing in the trees. The after walking we saw our 1st orangutan nest & with in 15mins saw a juvinal female! She came down close to get a better look at us then climbed up & away. We walked a bit more to here the calls of a Hornbill the saw 2 of the rare bird fly off together! Andy carved us a lovely fruit snack before we encountered our next juvinal female who was so curious she came down to the ground ran by us to a near tree. Stopped again for lunch where a macaque was learking. After hiking a bit more we ran in to the infamous Mena who was sitting in the trail trying 2 meet us Andy instructed us to go up hill, then she put her attentions to calling her son & playing with him. She just happen to be going the same way as our descent down to the river. Half way we relaxed for some pineapple as we watched monkeys & macaques carry on. Then we continued on to tube down the river to the village. I took a nap then went to the restaurant for my last amazing extra spicy dinner. Then hung with the staff & locals for a few drinks & songs 🎶jungle trek🎶 One of the best experiences of my life with the friendliest people I've ever met!!! From Andy, lodge/restaurant staff, locals & shop owners! I wish I could go again next year, but if not 2022 with the same company & hopefully with some friends this time & Andy as my guide again!
