Voskopoje

Voskopoja preserves a rich history and cultural heritage represented in churches, monasteries and residential stone buildings. Some of the places we visit include: Saint Nicolas church in the center with frescoes from David Selenica. Saint Michael church Saint Mary church Saint Athanasius church. Moreover, we will enjoy nature and landscapes as we hike the trails of Voskopoja to Shipska and Saint John Monastery. An academy and printing press were built in this area in the Middle Ages.

Korce

Korca is famous for its rich cultural heritage and is appraised as the city of culture and education. Here we visit the main boulevard with beautiful villas from the early 1900s, the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral, Old Bazaar, City Tower, Mirahori Mosque, Museum of Education, and one of the many cafes.

Museum of Medieval Art

One of the main attractions in Albania this museum features some of the best works of art from the Middle Ages. Most of the art is in the form of icons that decorated Byzantine and post-Byzantine orthodox churches.

Museum Gjon Mili

Dedicated to the work of the famous photographer born in Korca in 1904, this museum exhibits 240 photographs that have made history. Mili photographed many famous people and became known for his distinctive style. Much of his work was published in Life Magazine.
