We'll start our learning about Zemun from Avijaticarski Trg, where the old city of Zemun begins. With the massive monument to WWII heroes, the square is surrounded by Zemun's oldest elementary school building and Air Force Ministry's construction, one of the finest examples of modernism in pre-war Yugoslav architecture.
Your ride continues through the main street called Glavna (The Main) Street, where you have a chance to see some excellent examples of Zemun architecture: the Post Office, Hotel Central, Town's Museum, the House with a Sundial, etc.
Enjoy the comfort of a private Zemun tour and discover it in your rhythm. Choose the 2 hour long Private Zemun Tour and see the most important sights of the area. Flexible routes.

We had a wonderful experience on this walking tour of the Zemun old town neighborhood, aided by the great, sunny weather. Aleksandar, our tour guide, was very friendly and pleasant, and just great in every way. The 360 degree view from the top of the Gardos tower was magnificent. On the river shore, we were delighted by the view of locals feeding a group of swans. It was 3 hours well spent.

We are 2 couples on a Danube river cruise. I booked a 3 hours private city tour in spring. Jasna was very efficient from the beginning until we met our tour guide Alexander. He was waiting for us as our ship arrived and started immediately. The tour was a good overview of the city and Alexander has an openminded personality with extensive knowledges (geography, history, social living, education, architecture and local culture). We enjoyed it above expectation

My parents and I got a private tour from a very young female tour guide who was still in university. She was kind enough to have the taxi take us all the way up to the tower and then to walk down to Zemun. It's an easy tour with some interesting history and worth doing.

We had a fun time learning about Zemun, Belgrade and Serbian history even in the rain. Alexander speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable, refined, subtle and accommodating. We highly recommend this tour.

Aleksandar contacted us beforehand and upgraded us to a full-day tour of Belgrade. So we got to see not only Zemun, which is historic and lovely, but also the Kalemegdan fortress, Avala and St. Sava Orthodox Cathedral. St. Sava is kind of the Sagrada Familia of Belgrade - an enormous church being built by donations. While it is unfinished, the work completed the downstairs mosaics is spectacular. Well worth visiting and - if you are so inclined - leave a donation to help complete the work! We really enjoyed learning about Serbian history from Aleksandar and chatting with our group of fellow travelers.

A trip I can recommend even the weather was pretty bad. Zemun is an interesting part of Belgrade.
