Meet your friendly private guide at hotel lobby in Nanjing city at your pointed schedule, and walk to the near by bus or subway station to Confucius Temple Area. Upon arrival, you will see many local vendors and shops in the area. Follow your guide's steps and look for the tasty local food you like to try out, such as noodles, dumplings, tofu soup, and so many items. You also can enjoy some shopping along the way.

Emily was an excellent tour guide with good English speaking skills. Emily introduced me to many local Nanjing foods and I tried most everything, though I would take a pass on the stinky tofu (the name tells it all). She also recommended a place to buy some hand made high quality souvenirs to take back home. Overall, I enjoyed Emily and the food tour and would recommend.
