What To Expect
On our 3 hour semi private swimming with the manatee tours. We put a maximum of 6 guests to insure an intimate and educational experience. We embark our tour from Petes pier marina located in the heart of kings bay where the manatees can be located anywhere in our 600 acre bay. Once we find the manatees we then exit the boat and snorkel with the manatee. Our experienced guides lead the guests in the water throughout the entire at that time time they are taking photos and videos. All of our photos and small videos taken on the trip are included. Please note. This is a true wild life experience and we do not guarantee perfect conditions. As a small owner operated tour company we believe in transparency with our guests. A lot of tour companies advertise Crystal clear water and picture perfect attractions. During manatee season those are the most likely times to see manatees in or near the springs. Where the water is clearer. During spring, summer and fall. The manatees will be eating on our grass flats where visibility can very between 1 to 6ft. There is residential population of manatees that live in our bay year round. So you can still see manatees in the off season.

5.00Great experience! Weather was perfect! Swam with 2 mother and baby manatees. Our guides Derek and Pete were very knowledgeable and accommodating! Made sure that we had a great time. Booking with Viator was very easy and excellent communication!

The local tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and it is clear that they care deeply about the manatees, the environment, and ensuring that both the travelers and the manatees have a great experience. The small group sizes are perfect!!!! You dont feel crowded and it helps keep the manatees less stressed too. Overall, I cant recommend this tour company enough, they're fantastic! Josh and Walter were our tour guides and they were amazing!!!! If you're looking for a manatee tour at crystal river, this is the one you should book!

5.00Even though this tour was slightly more expensive than other options, it was definitely worth it to choose this private tour. Four people is really the maximum number of people that can comfortably gather around a manatee, especially if you're going during the off season when you have to actively seek out the manatees, definitely choose this smaller group. Both our captain and our five guide were fantastic. They were knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and communicate clearly. Our captain were also very skilled at finding manatees, and he was generous with sharing manatee sighting information with other captains on the water. The gear, including the wetsuits and snorkel gear were clean with no weird smell. At the end of the tour when we got too cold, they took us on a sightseeing ride around the bay. This is a local operation and we're happy to support them. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely recommend to friends and family!
