We had one day in Newcastle and wanted to make sure we made the most of it…a walking tour seemed the best way to see the city. We spent three hours with Martin exploring the history and recent developments in Newcastle, visiting sites such as the wall, Chinatown, Grey Monument, St Andrew’s church, the bridges over the Tyne, old markets, new squares, and of course the castle itself. Martin even helped us find a couple of places where we wanted to make some purchases, which was very kind of him. It was a great way to spend three hours.
