The tour last about 5 hours, plus the time(2 hours) to get out of airport and the time(2 hours) to catch flight, so it requires at least 9 hours layover time(between two flights) to make this tour happen.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
You will be picked up from your hotel/PEK airport at your selected pick up time. Then you will be taken to the most popular Great Wall section in Beijing-Mutianyu Great Wall. After arrive at Mutianyu Great wall, you can either hike up or use the most popular way to go up to the wall by cable or toboggan chairlift(this is a option at your own cost). After about 2 hours visit or so (you can decide to stay on the wall longer or shorter depending on your energy), then drive back to your hotel/ PEK airport. Lovely tour ends.

5.00Amazing tour! Tony picked up me from PEK airport and after one hours drive arrived at the Great Wall. What a sight. Tony is super knowledgeable and likes to have a laugh - a great tour guide. Highly recommend if you have a long layover in PEK.

5.00I booked the Mutianyu Great Wall layover tour and honestly it was honestly perfect. My guide, Tony, was outstanding — he knew everything, had facts that genuinely blew my mind, and kept things fun without overdoing it. After an 11 hour flight, the balance he struck between great conversation and quiet time was exactly what I needed. The car was incredibly comfortable, spotless, and ideal for recovering a bit before and after the Wall. Tony also has seriously impressive photo skills: he knew all the best angles and spots, and the pictures came out amazing. The whole experience was awesome, relaxed, and way better than I expected for a tight layover. If you’re debating whether to book this during a stopover: do it. Tony made it an absolute highlight of my trip.

5.00Tony is the best guide in the world! I had a 14h layover and he took me to the great wall and the summer palace. The places are out of this world but Tony is even better! He took care of every little detail, tickets, great photos, great stories, he even had snacks and a present for me 🩵. He changed my opinion about the country in a few hours and now it can be my next destination. The great wall is one of the most impressive places in this world. And the summer palace has the peaceful atmosphere you need to continue your trip. Thank you Tony, my new friend!

5.00Had a 12 layover and wanted to get to the great wall so got in touch with Tony and from start to finish he was absolutely amazing!!! He was so welcoming, Chatty and easy to get on with. He had a lovely big comfy car waiting that was so lovely after a long haul flight! He had waters waiting too which was a lovely touch. We wanted to get a coffee before going upto the great wall which was no issue at all for tony and in general he was just such a gem! he also made such an effort with pictures for us up there and allowed some free time too.. We didnt feel a bit rushed and had the best time. Tony organised all the tickets / entrance fees etc which was so nice after travelling not having to worry about that. We were drove back to the airport with a little nap on route and tony had a chocolate snack for the trip back and a souvenir! Cant say enough about how great he is! Thank you Tony!!!

5.00The tour is amazing. We arranged our Asia trip to include a quick 10 hour layover in Beijing PEK with a chance to visit the Great Wall of China. GUIDE Tony Liu was amazing. Great communication, pick up at airport was smooth. Tony provided wonderful insight and history on the way and his partner driver was great as well. Highly recommend this tour. Also recommend taking the chair lift up and sled back down. So much fun. Since we were only there for a quick layover we did not have Chinese currency. Recommend getting some at airport or adding Alipay app before the trip. Lots a great souvenirs near wall but need cash to do it. My wife was never wanting to go to China. This 10 hour layover has her asking when can we go back! Thanks Tony for making the day magical for us.

5.00Quick layover in PEK Beijing? This is the tour for you. Customs clearance visa free with no pre filings. Tour Guide connection was clear and precise. Flawless work by Guide Tony Liu. Made for an absolutely magical day of visiting and walking the Great Wall of China. Take the Chair Lift up and the sled back down. As an almost senior, it was really fun! The views were breathtaking and the sense of history was palpable. We planned our travel arrangements on way back from Asia trip for this one stop and go in Beijing using Air China. It was a great decision. My wife never wanted to visit China, and after a 10 hour layover she can't wait to go back.

5.00The trip was amazing! Tony picked us up from the airport, helped with luggage storage, got all the tickets sorted, and told us lots of interesting facts about the Great Wall. He was super flexible and open to our ideas, which made the trip really easy and fun. He also suggested a great place to eat and shop for souvenirs. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Very friendly, funny, and easy to talk to. We had such a good time and we would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing!
