The Mountain Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will bring you close to these giants. This is a highlight of all visits done in Uganda which is conducted all year around offering one of Africa’s most profound wildlife encounters. The 4 days tour starts and ends in Entebbe, conducted in a private 4x4 safari land-cruiser vehicle, transfers from and back to the airport and accommodation in a standard lodge/hotel during the experience. A standard tour designed to give a chance to every traveler to spend time with the worlds endangered mountain gorillas.
Only 8 visitors are allowed to view the gorillas for one hour per day with the habituated family and all participants must be aged 15 or over. The trekking can last from 2 – 8hours depending on how far the group moved since it was observed nestling up the previous evening during this encounter you will be escorted by rangers and trackers in search for the family

After an early morning breakfast checkout of the guest house and meet up with your guide for a briefing. You will then embark onto your journey through different regions and districts of this amazing country the Pearl of Africa. You have a brief stop over at the Equator after continue your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest the name comes from the extensive stands of bamboo interspersed amongst the larger forest hardwoods. The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees and many birds also notable for the 400 Mountain Gorillas half of the world’s population. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
07:00am Mountain Gorilla trekking Rushaga southern section of the Bwindi forest, the park protects an estimated 400 Mountain Gorillas roughly half of world’s population including several habituated groups which can be tracked. The biological diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals including several primate species such as baboons, chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. The ranger will lead you to start your trek and after hiking some distance depending on the location of the Gorillas, you will sight them and spend up to 1hr with them. Take a picnic lunch break after start to descent back to meet with your driver guide who will transfer you to the lodge so you may reminisce on the day’s experience.
