The Jungle Booze Cruise departs from the Adventure Tours Costa Rica office in Jaco, with local pickup included. For those staying in the nearby towns of Los Suenos or Playa Hermosa, transportation is conveniently available for a small additional fee. Once aboard our specialty 4x4 vehicle, your journey begins as we take off through the beautiful Costa Rican countryside, winding through rainforest roads and passing by a scenic river and picturesque farmlands. If accessible, we’ll make a quick pit stop at a local riverside bar where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the warm waters of Rio Turrubares. From there, can head back to the trail and make our way further up the rainforest mountains.

Recommended to Bring: Camera, Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)

Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)

Quebrada Amarilla
Your bilingual guide will transport you safely through backcountry roads, rivers and mountains on your tipsy journey. You will pass through several hidden local spots for drinks and fun – all served by some of the nicest people you will ever meet. You will begin your tour leaving the Jaco or Los Suenos area and traveling to Quebrada Armarilla.

5.00Our tour guide was super fun! He made our trip even more special because of all his attention to detail. It’s a great thrilling experience, going through the jungle, swimming in a waterfall, and all while taking shots and drinking beers. Totally worth it!

5.00We had an excellent time on the Booze Cruise! Our guide was Alonso and he was great! He was extremely nice and a fun guide. The food stop was really, really great. We really enjoyed it! The views were stunning along the way, and the stop at Jaco Falls was so cool! Alonso also made a slight detour for us to point out more wildlife, which we really appreciated. I would absolutely book this again. It was extremely fun. Highly recommended.

Yordan was an awesome guide and pointed out many different plants and animals as we drove by. Between Costa Rican beers, lots of history and fun facts, and a delicious lunch at a local spot we couldn’t have asked for anything else

2.00We expected a guided party tour but it was just a long commute in the back of a truck with cooler. Each traveller was allotted 4 beer, we visited a waterfall had lunch then a long drive back. We had a shot at each stop. The driver was very nice but we were disappointed. The two other guests had enough and opted to ride back inside the truck. The drive was too fast to even take pictures.

5.00Our jungle booze cruise was so much fun! Our tour guide Naron was hilarious and definitely knew all of the cool spots to see! Lunch was my favorite meal during our entire trip! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

3.00The tour was very good. The tour guides were excellent (Narron and Denis) pointing out wildlife and interesting plants. The demonstration of the trap spider was certainly entertaining. The dip in the water at Jaco Falls was refreshing and beautiful. The stop at the restaurant for lunch served very good authentic Costa Rican food. However, the description for the tour states that there would be stops at several local small town bars, served by locals. This did not happen. In fact, the Iunch did not include alcoholic drinks either. The tour included approximately 16 beers for 5 people, along with a few shots of guava liqour. The description for the tour needs to be updated or fulfilled. 5 stars for the guides, but 3 stars for the tour, when comparing to the description.

5.00this cruise was great. The beginning of the trip was super fast as the driver was kind of speeding through the jungle, but it was all fun. The drinks were great, and the food was amazing. I enjoyed that we had options to choose from for the food and drinks and we took multiple shots. I would recommend this to a friend.
