Important Note regarding Maligne Canyon Waterfalls: Due to damage caused by last summer’s wildfire, access to Maligne Canyon is currently closed by Parks Canada for infrastructure repairs to ensure visitor safety. If these repairs are not completed prior to your selected tour date, the short walk to view waterfalls in Maligne Canyon will not be possible. In this case, the tour will proceed with a slightly altered itinerary, offering alternative stops to showcase the area’s unique beauty. This includes a visit to Maligne Lookout, where you can view the dramatically changed landscape from a high vantage point, and additional time at Medicine Lake, featuring a short walk along the shore for stunning perspectives of the lake surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Please rest assured that the tour length and price remain unchanged, and the overall experience will still provide incredible opportunities to explore and learn about the Maligne Valley’s natural wonders.

Very nice excursion. Nice drive up to the lake with our very friendly, knowledgeable tour guide Catherine. We saw a huge elk, two eagles and deer but the highlight was 12 long horn sheep who wandered around the parking lot for 20+ minutes.

Beautiful tour. Our boat driver Sydney and tour guide Nicole were amazing with a lot of energy and knowledge. We had amazing boat ride to the spirit island navigating thru Emerald green waters of Maligne lake and the view from the other end was unspeakable. We were given enough time explore the little trail at the other end and take photos, we had a great time.

Sam was very informative about the geological history of the area ad well as the fire of last year. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I was not looking for wildlife as my key interest. However, I feel the company should not make wildlife as a main headline. I am sure that some people in the tour were expecting to see wildlife
