Enter the world of Mitai Māori Village and embrace our history and culture. Watch our stories unfold through the dynamic scenes of our warriors paddling down Wai-o-Whiro stream, the melodious sounds of our instruments and entertainment from our performers including the haka. Satisfy your hunger with the traditional Māori Hangi and concluding your evening with a walk through our forest to see the ancient, fortified village learning the old ways of living and survival of our people and discover the natural resource Te Puna a Tuhoe, freshwater spring. The evening is not over until you glimpse the glow worms light up the banks of forest as the veil of darkness sets in.

Such an enlightening experience about the Maori culture. The host was super friendly and approachable. You can ask him about just anything and the performance was amazing. The Hangi is just perfect, the meats (all halal) and potatoes were all tender soft! The village was bigger than i expected but i like that they bring you out for a little night walk after your meal so you get your food down before heading home!

Good show! Family presentation is great dinner! It is a simple but authentic presentation! Initial presentation by the host, then presentation of the war canoe in the local stream, presentation of the Haka in the theater and return to dinner, with a visit to the vagalumes at the end!

Very big crowd of people! Food is not tasty. Performance and dinner definitely did not worth 100+ per person.
