Very good Car. Alan was an excellent guide. He gave as many good and profunded informations. His special choice of the roads beside "where they all drive" helped us to unforgetable contact with animals, even totally unexpected as a hyena.

Excellent trip with Sean from Mosaic tours to the Addo Elephant park. We did this trip from a cruise ship and I would highly recommend this instead of the expensive tours offered by the ship. We saw lots of elephants and other animals, the elephants at the watering hole being a particular highlight. Sean is very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. He also kindly took us around Port Elizabeth on the way back to he ship, not part of the tour but I think he wanted to keep us safe from walking around there and he is obviously very passionate about this city and its history. Highly recommended.

Sarah with Mosaic Tourism is beyond a doubt one of the nicest, most vivacious persons I’ve ever met. She truly loves Port Elizabeth and being able to show it to you. I knew I was in good spirits from the moment I met her. She booked a day tour of Addo Elephant Park for me through Dungbettle River Lodge, which was perfection (see my Dungbettle review). She picked me up promptly at my hotel in Port Elizabeth and we talked nonstop to Dungbettle. She explained the history of Port Elizabeth and showed me various highlights along the way of our approximate 25 minute drive. Once at Dungbettle, I was able to enjoy coffee on their beautiful deck overlooking the river before venturing out to my game drive. At the end of the day, Sarah promptly picked me up again and was genuinely interested in hearing all about my day. On the way back, she even showed me flamingos! I considered a sand boarding excursion with Mosaic Tours, but the weather and my timing had other plans. I absolutely cannot wait to go back to Port Elizabeth and Sarah will be one of the first people I contact so that she can book as much South African adventure into my trip as possible!

We had a most wonderful tour to Addo Elephant National Park with Mosaic. The elephants were out in numbers and thanks to the good eyesight of our guide even saw a dung beetle heading to a new home. The guide and driver were informative helpful and personable. It was a pleasure to be with them. Our guide’s eyesight permitted spotting animals from afar allowing cameras to be ready for great shots. Lots of fantastic pictures. We went during vacation time and there were lots of fellow tourists. Our team avoided crowded spots and we got in close everywhere. We were very fortunate that they recommended a picnic lunch rather than a restaurant. The food was very good and best of all no time was wasted in waiting for a table and service. I suggest everyone ask for the picnic lunch especially during crowded times. This was far better than my expectations.

One of my favorite full day tours; Addo / SchotiaOur guide, Sean arrived on time. He gave us a briefing of our day and we were off. First stop was Addo Elephant National Park. There had been some rain and the animals were busy celebrating. Great viewings. Lunch was included at the Cattle Baron at Main Rest Camp. A wonderful gift shop is there as well. With a quick trip out we arrived at Schotia Game Reserve. We checked in and was served coffee, tea and biscuits. We boarded open vehicles and set off for animal viewing. Our driver kept us well informed of animal behaviors and we enjoyed the information. We had another coffee, tea, snack break and continued on to see lions. As the sun was setting we headed to dinner at a boma. Campfires under the stars. Beer and wine was served. Full meal cooked over open fires with dessert. Wonderful. Lots of camaraderie sitting around large tables. After dinner we loaded up again and did a night drive with spot lights while heading back to entrance of the reserve. Great full day adventure. Don't pass this one up. Tops on my list.

We booked a day trip to Addo Elephant Park and Schotia Tooth and Claw. We were collected from our hotel by Malcolm at the time we expected. He introduced himself, put us at ease and explained the plan for the day, asked what we would like to see most and explained what we could experience. Malcolm was a brilliant source of information. He made the day memorable with his explanations, experiences, discussion and advice. The Land Rover was comfortable, water provided and Biltong! I would recommend asking for him for the tour. Mosaic Tours were brilliant to deal with. They answered emails quickly, happily offered advice and our questions whilst we were still in the UK and ensured we had booked the perfect tour for us. They sent a reminder email the day before our tour and will ring you at your destination hotel if you prefer. This was a perfect day and we would highly recommend Mosaic Tours and Malcolm.

So my Fiancé and I did a one day private tour (08:30-22:00) with Peter. We went to the Addo Elephant park and then in the afternoon (14:30 on) you go on tour in the adjacent Scotia resort... this was amazing. Peter really helped find all sorts of wildlife (not just elephants) in Addo and was an excellent guide. Before we booked this we had looked into all sorts of alternatives and stays in what are all private game reserves (NB these have often been stocked with game artificially). This option was probably about 1/4 or less of the price of staying in one of the many reserves. I think I'd have been a little disappointed if I'd have spent that much on staying in a reserve when this provided the same wildlife experience. I'm honestly not sure one needs to stay for 2 or 3 or more days at enormous cost, as these game reserves aren't that big and you'll just end up seeing the same animals and things again and again unless a lion butchers something right in front of you! Anyway, each to their own, this option fitted our trip and finances better then staying in a resort... Thank you Peter for a lovely day.

We had booked this company from a recommendation from a friend, who told us we would not be disappointed, how right was he, we were on a cruise sailing around South Africa three of us included my mother who is 80 years of age, I explained my dynamics to Craig who runs the company, who tailor-made and fitted around our timings with great care kindness and concern, from the time he picked us up at the dock, addressed our requirements and proceeded to take us on a magical tour of his homeland, with his knowledge and expertise we headed to the elephant Park, and was able to take us away from the beaten track and hence why we witness a bonanza of wildlife from elephants to lions, included we enjoyed a fabulous lunch, managed to catch some more wildlife and as a fitting end to the tour took us around his beloved city of Port Elizabeth, it was a highlight of the trip and even though we were told that the other cities of Durban and Cape Town were more salubrious, I truly believe Port Elizabeth and its surrounds truly stand shoulder to shoulder alongside them, I highly recommend Craig as your tour leader and guide should you find yourself in this location.
