Hidden behind unassuming doors on Seel Street lies Alcotraz, a spekeasy prison staffed with crooked guards to help you smuggle liquor past the Warden and get it into the hands of the "longest-serving" inmates.
Inspired by Hollywood Movies and TV that have brought to life prison stories, Alcotraz is Liverpool's first immersive theatrical cocktail bar. From the orange jumpsuits upon entrance, to the real metallic cells, Alcotraz becomes the perfect backdrop to enjoy delicious, bespoke cocktails within an epic yet intimate environment.
You won’t find a set menu of drinks here, after all, it is prison! Alcotraz creates a range of tailored cocktails every night based on the liquor you bring and your tastes. Luckily, Inmate Cassidy has the Guards are on your side who have creative ways of hiding contraband.

What To Expect
Inspired by Hollywood Movies and TV that have brought to life America's infamous prison stories, Alcotraz is Liverpool's first immersive theatrical cocktail bar. From the orange jumpsuits upon entrance, to the real metallic cells, Alcotraz becomes the perfect backdrop to a drink within an epic yet intimate environment. You won’t find a set menu of drinks here…after all, it is prison! The working inmates of Alcotraz will be serving unique, personalised cocktails behind bars using the liquor that visiting convicts will have smuggled in and your personal tastes. As new inmates you can expect to see your illegally smuggled liquor combined with liqueurs, bitters and homemade syrups to make bespoke, contemporary and classic cocktails perfect for your time behind bars. Be as creative as you can with your attempts to smuggle-in liquor. Alternatively, Inmate Cassidy has got the Guards on your side who have their own system for hiding contraband. Just make sure the Warden doesn’t catch you.

5.00Such good fun. Staff are fantastic and the drinks were unexpectedly fantastic. Would highly recommend Cells are small so a cosy fit with 6 of us in it but always something going on so don’t sit for long

5.00Absolutely brilliant activity. I bought it as a surprise for my nutty friend and she loved it. The cell set up was perfect, and the actors were all great. The cocktails were all gorgeous and my friend & I even got a sneaky shot free for her taking the rap for smuggling alcohol in. The whole session flowed well, it’s just a shame it was over too soon as we loved it. I’d highly recommend it for a fun couple of hours.

5.001st time visit, member of hen do party Thought it was a quirky cocktail bar..it was a whole immersive interactive show. The performers were so professional, the characters were so funny, and the story line was excellent. Very well run and the cocktails were lovely.... well done to the bar staff Well worth the admission fee, had 4 different cocktails each one very nice The prison inmates on our experience were all well behaved and participated eagerly Highly recommend

5.00We had the best time ever ! We didn’t really know what to expect but was blown away by the whole experience. Massive thanks to Willy, Gill, Cassidy and Richard (Dick) the warden for such a great time. The cocktails were fabulous and we laughed from the minute we arrived until the end. Would definitely recommend this experience. Go along and embrace the activity to get the most out of it. Not to be missed ! !
