During our stay in Liverpool, we also took a guided tour of the Anfield Stadium on one day. At £25 for adults and £16 for children up to 16 years old, this is not quite cheap, but an absolute experience (even if you are not an outspoken Liverpool fan). Tours start every full hour between 10:00 and 15:00, we booked our time slot online in advance to be able to participate safely. Since I was there much earlier, we picked up the tickets and visited the museum before the tour, which shows many exhibits. The actual Anfield Stadium tour was absolute top, then the guide Mario was a real mood gun and showed us all parts of the stadium with total enthusiasm. On the tour, they came to the stands, the press conference place, the cabin of the guests and Liverpool and finally to the area of the coaches' bench. You could take photos anywhere and even if it was a big group, we never had the impression that we were being rushed through. Especially our 6-year-old son liked it extremely much and he still raves about the fact that he was allowed to look in one of the player lockers in the Liverpool cabin :-) All in all a wonderful experience that we can recommend without restriction.

We really enjoyed this tour (match day tour). Loved all the stories and looking at the cups and medals etc. was great to see all around the inside of the stadium and try out the different seats. The hosts were really good also - think they were Ian and Dave. Would highly recommend

What an amazing experience I am a newcastle fan that lives in a house full of liverpool fans and despite not supporting liverpool i can definitely appreciate a good stadium. My kids and my partner loved every minute of it and its very reasonably priced, we also had the most amazing tour guides hydir and Joe both who made the whole experience even better and were amazing with the kids, we highly recommend for any football fan that loves a good stadium and alot of football history, I would say the tour is about 1.5 hours and then the museum another half hour

Fantastic experience! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour - I was a bit disappointed when I heard it was self guided with aid of audio machine HOWEVER the guides/staff that were available at the various stations were so engaging, very friendly and answered all our questions!! It was well organised, well signed and info on the audio was very good. We spent almost 3 hours there. Good value for money!

Really interesting tour of the stadium. The audio devices were not quite as good as some other tours we’ve been on. But as it’s Anfield they had to keep the 5th star…
