A very comprehensive tour for anyone interested in the Beatles and it also effectively integrates the culture and history of Liverpool in the narrative.

Rob had encyclopedic knowledge of all things Fab Four and indeed of all aspects of music from the Liverpool area. Very in-depth and we saw all of the important sites all over town that played a role as the Beatles went from being mere lads to global sensations. Our small group saw the neighborhoods and the music places, even the sites of Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields that had such impact on the songs. It was. An unforgettable half day and well worth the cost. Recommended!

An amazing journey to become immersed in the Beatles as they grew up in Liverpool. Our guide, Paul, did an excellent job in going through the lives of the Beatles in Liverpool. As part of a cruise with Viking, we opted for an independent tour arranged by our travel agent….the best decision that we made on the entire cruise! We were met at the port by Paul, and were directed to a Mercedes SUV with only one other guest! Paul, a former teacher, was knowledgable, engaging, and truly loved his job! We went everywhere, but, perhaps the most enlightening stop was at St. Peter’s church, where John and Paul hung out at the community center, and sat on the wall of the cemetery. A few feet away, there’s a gravestone to at includes Eleanor Rigby! By far, this was the most enjoyable tour that we have been on in our years of traveling and cruising. You will not find a better way to go back to the years of the Beatles. Thank you, Paul, and ‘go Everton’! Jim and Elaine

Excellent tour of the Beatles beginnings. The guide was both knowledgeable and passionate about the Beatles. This tour was much more intimate than the larger bus group tours.
