What To Expect
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Your friendly tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Beijing in the morning. You will firstly visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square of this kind in the world. The visit here allows you to have a glimpse at the outside of Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the magnificent Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, the ancient Zhengyang Gate and Arrow Tower as well as the Tiananmen Tower which leads to the well-known Forbidden City.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Then move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City", the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700's and onwards.

5.00Had a great time exploring the major tourist attractions of Beijing with Wendy. She was savvy with finding the most optimal way to be able to manage time and made sure we were able to see everything inspite of lots of crowds everywhere. Everything was on time with a clean comfortable car driver and a great guide Wendy who made sure they were flexible with my plans. Would highly recommend.

5.00Jeffrey was an amazing guide. He explained everything very clearly in perfect English. He was a pleasure to spend the day with and took great photos of us at the sites. He had a great fund of knowledge of Chinese history and the significance of each site. He got us through long lines very quickly. Driver was very nice and the car was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Because of Linda’s excellent English language proficiency and her vast knowledge of each site we visited, we felt we got the most out of the time spent on this one-day tour. It was an unhurried day, but we saw so much. Do yourself a favor and ask for Linda!
