The region of the Hardangerfjord – the fifth longest fjord in the world and the second longest fjord in Norway – has attracted people for millennia: first people came here after the last Ice Age around 7000 BC, the Vikings used its waterways, medieval farmers settled its fertile shores, poets and artists of the Romantic era visited the fjord for inspiration, tourists from abroad started coming here 200 years ago. The majestic beauty of this area is the reason. Experience Norway's magnificent nature concentrated in Hardanger region: you will see lush valleys, barren mountain landscapes, raging waterfalls and, of course, the Queen of the Fjords—the Hardangerfjord—on a 3-hour relaxing fjord cruise. Your own professional driver-guide provides interesting commentary to the sights and general information about Norway. Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans or Tesla Model X (for 3 and less people). All of our cars have Norwegian Passenger Transport License.

Bergen
Our tour starts in the city of Bergen - the Gateway to the Fjords. The city was founded in 1070 and contains many historical and cultural landmarks. We will pass some of them on our way from the city and also on our return to Bergen.
Osteroy Municipality
Sørfjorden or the South fjord is part of the Osterfjord which is a peculiar natural phenomenon: an salt water inlet that surrounds the largest inland island in Northern Europe - Osterøy Island - enclosed by continental land. We drive along the South fjord until we come the crossroads in Trengereid. (Usually we do not stop here.)

This is a fantastic itinerary. It is well worth taking the extra time compared to most tours. It is a very personalised and comprehensive tour and we were blessed with great weather and very interesting and detailed information provided by Vlad our excellent guide. The scenery was astoundingly beautiful and provided a great snapshot of Norway. This is well worth your time. Highly recommended.

Vlad was a marvelous tour guide. He was very knowledgeable on all subjects of locations and the history of Norway. He was flexible talked when you wanted but not over talkative. He was also flexible on what you wanted to stop and see and willing to change plans around. He even supplied some food and drink snacks that he brought from home to share. 10/10

Cannot say enough about Vlad and our day to see the Hardanger Fjord and lots more. Vlad is so knowledgeable about all that we saw during the day and shared his love and knowledge of Norway, its history, geography and culture with us. You will come away from this tour with great memories and a great understanding and knowledge about Norway, its people and its beauty. Thank you Vlad for a great day - it was so much more than we could have expected!

Vlad our personal driver/guide picked up our group of 4 people, exactly as agreed, with his luxury Mercedes van. The whole day, we could enjoy the beautiful Norwegian landscape of mountains, lakes, spectacular waterfalls and beautiful villages without any self-driving stress. Vlad taught us more about Norwegian traditions along the way and we had the opportunity to taste some of the Norwegian traditional foods and drinks that are exclusive to the region. Vlad made several stops at the most beautiful spots. We were able to see and visit much more than we expected. He is a fantastic guide and driver, very friendly and attentive. To our surprise, he even brought homemade drinks and cookies especially for us. We were very lucky with the weather and we still enjoy the beautiful pictures that Vlad took of our group in the most beautiful natural settings. This trip wit Vlad is the most complete day trip to Hardanger and we definitely recommend it to anyone.
