Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)
We start our tour in the heart of Amsterdam's world famous canal belt. Here we learn how the Dutch had to coexist with the water and how it has shaped the culture and mentality of the Netherlands throughout the ages.
Red Light District (De Wallen)
The most famous neighborhood in this city and perhaps the world, discover the history, why its there, how it works and how the Dutch look at it.

5.00This is a GREAT activity especially for newbies (like me) visiting the city for the first time. Axel was a great tour guide who gave an informative and engaging overview of Amsterdam's history and culture today - lots of fun facts I'll be annoying people with back home - while stopping at various iconic landmarks and places I probably would've missed or not known the full story of on my own. Can't recommend the Hit the Bricks/Dam Boat Guys people enough! (Also say hi to the cutest cat Koko if you get to their office/meeting point early. 😄)

5.00Axl knows his city inside out and is very proud of it. He brought its history to life and did a great job of educating us, while entertaining us at the same time. Put this on your list, as it is a great couple of hours where you are shown parts of Amsterdam that you would otherwise miss. Well worth it!

5.00With Axel you 'hit the bricks' rockhard! Axel is your own personal Rockstar/entertainer/comedian and he will tell you all that you didn't know you needed to know about Amsterdam! And he will tell the stories, while "painting" them with all the colours imaginable, so you remember it😉 Two hours was just not enough!
