We , my husband and I, were lucky enough to have a private tour with David. With his background as an historian David gave us a great history of The Netherlands, the formation of the country and the development of Amsterdam both physically and commercially. We enjoyed our tour very much and recommend it and David to you. Anne & Philip Australia

We worked with Axel at Hit the Bricks Walking tours for our small group tour in Amsterdam on Saturday, April 25th. We provided a custom walking tour through the canal belt, dropping us off at our restaurant for lunch. Axel is a great story teller and a born comedian. We can't wait to bring another group back.

We did the walking tour with David yesterday and had a blast. Very knowledgeable about the city’s history and he wove stories into an interesting narrative that felt tailored to our group’s pace. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get their bearings as a new traveler to Amsterdam or someone who enjoys history!
