Appleton Estates tour is a must see in Jamaica. It is a long time with traffic to go from the north side to the south side of the island, it well worth it. You get a welcome drink and then learn about how they use to make rum and how they do now.

My husband and I visited the Appleton Estate for their Rum Experience, and it was a memorable journey, greatly enhanced by our excellent driver, Navar. The drive itself, while lengthy, was filled with lots of beautiful greenery that made for a picturesque and scenic route. However, the winding roads can be a bit challenging if you're prone to car sickness, so I'd recommend bringing some medicine just in case. Navar made several stops along the way there and back for restroom breaks, fresh fruits, delicious Jamaican patties, and fresh fish which allowed us to stretch our legs and enjoy some local flavors. Navar's vehicle was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable ride. His friendly conversation and music playlist made the long journey much more bearable and enjoyable. Navar's knowledge of the area and engaging stories added to the overall experience. Upon arrival at the Appleton Estate, the tour itself was fantastic and well worth the long drive. The estate's rich history and the rum-making process were fascinating, and the tastings were a real highlight. Overall, despite the winding roads, the trip to the Appleton Estate was highly enjoyable, thanks to Navar's excellent service. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience the best of Jamaican hospitality and culture.
