Misleading advertising. You think you are booking a tour of the Auschwitz and Birkenau Museum but you are not. You are collected by bus in Krakow and taken to outside the museums and to surrounding fields where there used to be parts of the camp but which are now destroyed. You do have a guide but they just tell you what used to be there and what you may already have read. You do NOT go to Auschwitz or Birkenau Museum. No one on the tour - I think 12 people in total had realised this when they booked your as they also complained. When I wrote to the company to complain that the advertising of this trip was misleading they emailed back a screen shop of an exclusion statement that the trip does not take you to the Auschwitz/ Birkenau Museums. But this is very tiny and not clearly visible on the page when booking. The trip is not cheap either so please do not waste your time and money on this - go on the official Auschwitz website to book or go to museum directly in the morning to get tickets.

Our tour leader was wonderful, and the smaller crowd at the sites made it easy to hear and engage with the guide. We felt well taken care of and learned a lot about the Holocaust. The organization of the tour was excellent, and the drive was very comfortable.

The tour was amazing. Our guide told us fascinating and heartbreaking stories that we did not hear in the main museum. Definitely recommend!
