We had a wonderful time learning how to make pesto. The host was so kind and friendly. She did an amazing job explaining the interesting origin and history of pesto, before explaining the uniqueness of each ingredient and how it is a blend of various products only found in Italy, such as the pecorino, the pine nuts, the salt, etc. Even the mortar is made of Italian white marble! This was followed by our hands on experience learning how to make authentic pesto, which can only be described as fun and exhausting! Our efforts were rewarded with a glass of local white wine and homemade foccacia to enjoy our fresh pesto! Would highly recommend!

This was the perfect authentic pesto making class. The class is in a small kitchen with the instructor a couple other attendees. It felt like I was back home learning how to cook from one of my aunts. The pesto was delicious and we learned so much about this history and ingredients that go into it!
