This was an absolutely amazing authentic experience !! We are so happy we booked this. The pesto was delicious & you receive the recipe at the end. The host & chef is so gracious & kind. She grows all her own ingredients that we used to make the pesto. I made it once when we arrived back to the states, but have since misplaced the recipe, which makes me so sad. Although simple I cannot recall exactly how it was made & the amounts. We highly recommend doing this wonderful authentic pesto making class!!

We really enjoyed the authentic pesto cooking class in Manarola, and especially appreciated learning the history of pesto in Italy. I didn't know that basil was not introduced into pesto until after the 14th century! Our small class of 6 prepared pesto from scratch, learning about the importance of each ingredient. Finally, we tasted our creation with focaccia bread and a glass of wine, and it was delicious! Fun and rewarding experience that I highly recommend!
