I'm from Manarola, and i like to transfer the history of Cinque terre and is diamant product, the Wine!! I'm wine lovers, but specialy, cinque terre wine lover,

i'm sommelier from 15 year, and is very emotional to feel scents and aroma in wine, to feel the different, i can learn to feel every thinks. After walking, is very interesting to tasting wine product in front of the sea, where, we stay before!!!

What To Expect

We will walk in natural amphitheatre of vineyard, with famous dry wall, and very beautiful view in Manarola village, here, we will see the vite and grapes, i describe every things about vineyard, soil, pruning etc.after, we will moved again and we will go in training room and we tasting 3 different white wine Cinque Terre, and home made focaccia, with olives.

Yvonne did a great job! She not only provided a tasting Cinque Terre wine but more importantly the history behind the wine and the culture in this region of Cinque Terre. She’s a native of Manarola and a sommelier so she was very knowledgeable. The short hike through some of the vineyards provided a close up look at some grapes and a beautiful view of the town. I highly recommend this wine tasting experience!

Yvonne was a top guide. We were given an explanation of the history of Manarola and then tasted three different types of wine from Manarola and surroundings. Then we went to the vineyards, with beautiful views!

Such a great detailed experience of the wines in Cinque Terre. This was a great session of wine tasting of the vineyards plus with a nice tour of the vineyards in the town. Would highly recommend if you enjoy learning the history and trying wine!

Trying to find the meeting place. Useless instructions for directions. We never did find the place and after 45 minutes we gave up.

I learned so much about the history of winemaking in Cinque Terre, what makes their grapes so unique and savouring that uniqueness. Madame Riccobaldi was a wonderful presenter. She weaves history and contemporary results beautifully. I enjoyed the tour of the vineyards in picturesque Manarola.

The host is a sommelier born and bred in Cinque Terre, she is SUPER knowledgeable and friendly, we learned a lot. A great post beach, pre-dinner activity.
