We had a wonderful time. The diverse group was so great: people from Canada, the UK, Norway and at least Germany. From the very beginning we had fun and we got the opportunity to learn from our coach Deborah how to make delicious empanadas. She did it in a very nice way. We learned a lot about wine from Argentina, too. We highly recommend this class. A special thanks to Deborah’s colleague, she did a great job and was sooooo nice!

Thank you, thank you! My 11-year-old daughter, husband and I had such a great time making empanadas, learning of Argentinian cuisine and wine and sharing with fellow travelers delicious 'copas'. The experience was both entertaining, informative and felt like we got an in depth sense of local cuisine and culture. And yes, we will be making empanadas at home very soon!!

My husband and I took this tour during our late December trip to Argentina and had a lovely time. I am blanking on our instructor’s name but she was welcoming, patient, kind, and generous with the wine refills. It began with a wine tasting where we learned about what makes the grapes special, and continued with empanada making (and more wine). It wasn’t intense cooking, but that was fine with us. Much of it was already done and we helped with making the filling and doing the assembly, but I got to learn the empanada fold which was a goal. This was a great way to spend the evening and it’s in a fun neighborhood to grab at drink at the bar next door after!

We had a really fun experience learning to make empanadas with Lourdes. She made all the instructions really easy to follow, and the end result was really delicious. It was also just the 2 of us in the class so it was nice to be able to ask lots of questions and chat while also tasting delicious Argentinian wines!
