The tour operator and Jazz, our driver, greeted us as we disembarked. Jazz was a very kind and safe driver. The van for the 6 of us were in was very cramped and uncomfortable for the three guests who could fit and get into the 3rd row seating. I would suggest only 3-5 guests for comfort, but definitely not 6! The two in rear seat would need to be nimble and navigate getting in the rear seat. It was unfortunate we had 6. The seating isn’t made for that many adults. Especially ones with some mobility issues. We made a couple stops along the way for pictures. It was a lovely drive out to the museum and the waterside village. The hour for lunch was ample, though we did not make it through all the exhibits in the museum in an hour. We still really enjoyed the it. Jazz was very prompt at meeting us at the assigned time and getting us back to the cruise area.

The logistics were flawless. We were picked up right at the Big Fiddle and returned to the ship with plenty of time to spare. The vehicle was comfortable, and the drive to Baddeck, especially with the stunning scenery, flew by. The true difference-maker was our guide Jass. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island's history, culture, and shared wonderful local stories. We felt completely immersed in Cape Breton life, not just transported. The time management of Shuttle Tours was excellent, giving us enough time at the Bell Museum .And a quick, enjoyable stop in the village of Baddeck for lunch. Absolutely worth every penny.

The driver and the vehicle were extremely nice. The museum was a let down. It is mainly pictures of things with words to read about them. What was learned on the tour could have been learned via a simple web search. The drive was beautiful, but I question if it was worth the time and money from the cruise ship for this visit. The driver was a driver and not a professional tour guide (this was understood before the tour). I feel like we missed a bit by not having someone able to explain things. The driver was very helpful with one of our friends that encountered some mobility issues
