What To Expect
This activity begins with a visit to a local home in side of Ubud, where you’ll learn how to make canang, a traditional Balinese offering, how to wear balinese traditional costum. After that, you’ll enjoy traditional herbal jamu while also learning how to make it yourself. Once finished, the journey continues to a holy water temple located in the Bangli area, where you’ll find two waterfalls and a natural river stream accompanied by the soothing sound of sacred bells used by the holy men during the purification ritual. After this spiritual experience, you’ll enjoy a traditional Balinese meal, featuring nasi goreng (fried rice) and pepes ikan (fish wrapped in banana leaves), before returning to your hotel.

5.00I can only explain that the day Wawan took us on was truly magical. A beautiful Melucat water blessing. He was so friendly and very clear in helping us understand everything. I cannot wait to book the next experience.

5.00-Mr. Wawan is a friendly English speaking Balinese guide. He knows his way around Bali to familiar and surprising unknown places. This way he introduces you to the real Bali. Mr. Wawan also provides a lot of background information on the locations we visited. Very interesting. It was a fun and educational day.

I have visited Bali several times and always find it both intriguing and relaxing. Mr. Wayan and the Atman Bali Journey give a wonderful guidance and insight into the history, practices, and culture of the unique island. Mr. Wayan is funny, hospitable, professional and highly knowledgeable. I can’t recommend Atman Bali Journey enough! It has my highest rating.
