Johnston Canyon
A beautiful spot for hiking, Johnston Canyon is a deep, narrow gorge with waterfalls cascading down its rock walls. The trail follows the canyon’s path, leading to both the Lower Falls and Upper Falls. It’s particularly breathtaking in the fall when the leaves turn vibrant colors, or in winter when the waterfalls freeze into ice sculptures. Activities: Hiking the Johnston Canyon Trail Ice walking (in winter) Photography of the waterfalls
Emerald Lake
Emerald Lake, located in Yoho National Park, is known for its striking green waters, created by mineral-rich runoff from the surrounding mountains. It’s a quieter, more serene spot compared to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, perfect for those looking for a peaceful escape. Activities: Canoeing on the lake Scenic walks along the shoreline Hiking trails like the Emerald Lake Loop

We had a good experience with Matrix Tours. Due to the busy season and the high level of traffic, the tour went longer to cover all points of interests. They did not cut corners or skip stops on the itinerary like some tours would. Communication was prompt and clear from the moment we booked, and everything ran smoothly. The service was professional, well-organized, and attentive. A special shoutout to Arun who was genuinely passionate about making our tour memorable and Sanjeev who was friendly and patient.
