The perfect mix of learning and fun! The chef taught us real techniques (sofrito, stock, rice ratios) but in such a simple, hands-on way that everyone could follow. Our group had zero cooking experience and we still made incredible black paella. Highly recommend!

I've made paella at home a few times but always wanted to learn how to do the black version with seafood. So glad I took this class! The chef was a true professional—knew her stuff inside out. Got so many great tips that I never would have figured out on my own. The whole process made perfect sense once she explained it. End result? A massive pan of black seafood paella loaded with mussels and prawns that tasted incredible. Way better than my attempts at home! Beautiful space, fun afternoon, and actually learned something useful. Highly recommend.

So glad I booked this! Started with cava and amazing Spanish ham and cheeses. Then we made sangria with fresh fruit and local wine (and drank it while cooking). The black paella we made was incredible—honestly better than any I had at restaurants here. Beautiful space, super clean, and our chef was lovely. Such a fun morning. Worth every penny. I've eaten paella at several restaurants in Barcelona, but none of them compare to the one we made in this class. Seriously! From start to finish, this experience was perfect. The venue is gorgeous and spotless, and our chef instructor was an absolute gem—so welcoming, patient, and she explains everything clearly in perfect English. What I loved most was how hands-on it is. This isn't a demonstration where you just watch someone else cook. We were actually doing it: chopping, frying, stirring, making our own sangria, and carefully adding ingredients to the rice for our black paella. We even learned the technique for cooking this type of rice properly! We had so much wine throughout the afternoon, and the whole group bonded over the cooking. By the end, we sat down together to enjoy the feast we'd created. The flavor of that black seafood paella was incredible, way better than anything we ordered in restaurants. The best part? I actually feel confident I can make this at home now. If you're in Barcelona, do yourself a favor and book this class. It's worth every penny!
